Loki Seivert

Loki took his Quidditch training very seriously. Though Loki was bright enough to get by with decent marks, he wasn't cut out for the academic life. He put forth all of his effort into making into the Quidditch league when he got out of Hogwarts.
He had just got done his exercises and with the trunk over one shoulder and his Nimbus 2001 in another, he made way towards the Quidditch pitch. He had missed almost 6 months worth of training and Loki had himself convinced that he lost a lot of his skills.
He also didn't know if he was going to keep his position as Beater on the House team. He was definitely too big for the spot of Seeker and the Keeper position just bored him to tears. He wanted to be where the action was which only left him with two spots left: Beater and Chaser.
Loki hadn't played Chaster in quite a number of years. After setting the trunk down, he looked over at his black broom. Drachir took care of it well, thank god. Even though Drachir looked rough around the edges, he was a good guy and Loki knew that he could rely on him to keep his broom safe.
He swung his leg over and with a light push, he soared into the air. The feeling of wind pushing past him was unlike anything he ever experienced before. He moved in and out of the hoops and was blissfully unaware of anyone watching him.
Sadie Magnas

There was no reason for Sadie to be at the Quidditch Pitch. She didn't fly, didn't like to watch the games (from the towers at least). Yet here she was. Why? Because of a certain Seivert she hadn't seen in a long time. Normally Loki was seen with crowds of people around him, she never got a chance to tell him how glad she was to see that he was alright. She did consider Loki a brother after all.
But there was another reason that she was there. It was for the same reason Loki had that blissful look on his face as he flew around on his broom. Not a care in the world. The only time that Sadie had that feeling, was when she danced. And that is why she hunted down the airborn boy. Aside from the other girls at school, he was the only other dancer, and probably the only one who would be a suitable partner for her.
She was about to speak to him, when she realized that this was the only time he was alone... What if she was invading his personal space? Wouldn't do to upset him, and he seemed so peaceful. Sadie didn't want to take that away from him.
So she found a spot to sit down where she thought he wouldn't see her and wait. She waited this long to try and reach out to someone about her fear of dancing again... She could wait a little longer.

Loki had flown for 10 minutes before the feeling arosed up within him that someone was watching him. He moved out of the hoops and slowing down his flying, he started to search the Pitch for anyone who was there. Not seeing anyone, he reached the ground again and took out a buldger and his bat.
He swung his arms around to loosen them up for a few swings.

Lucas was feeling a bit restless and decided to get out and for some fresh air. Quidditch try-outs would be coming up, and some flying practice never hurt. He was fairly decent at flying, but he'd never really played as a beater before. Though he did want the position to be just like his mom. He set out on his broom to the Quidditch Pitch to see if maybe anyone else was there. His hunch was right.
He saw some one on the field with reddish hair. His first though was that it might have been Thom. But getting closer he saw that it was Loki. Very cool, he thought. Maybe I can get to talk with him and get to know him now. Especially since everyone at the school seemed to know so much about him. Lucas felt like he was out of the loop somewhat.
He flew down in Loki's direction, not really noticing the bludger in his hand.

After warming up his shoulders, he set the settings on the bludger and let it go. He was going to take a few hits standing then get on his broom. The bludger moved away a bit from Loki and then hurled itself towards the 18 year old.
Loki swung his bat back like an American muggle baseball player and at the right movement, a loud crack was heard. The bludger sailed in the other direction, unfortunately towards Lucas.
Loki grinned at his speed and the lack of skill he didn't lose while not playing Quidditch for as long as he did, but then his eyes grew wide at the appearance of Lucas.
'LOOK OUT!' Loki cried though someone would have to be blind to not see a huge black bludger coming towards them.

As Lucas flew closer to Loki, he noticed a small black object getting a bit larger....and closer! He heard Loki call out and then it became apparent that what was coming at Lucas was a bludger. He was hoping to get experience in hitting a bludger or two, but not without a bat!
Lucas wasn't sure what to do next. He thought about slowing down, but would he have enough time to turn around? Then an idea hit him. Lucas decided to speed up towards the bludger. It looked suicidal from the ground, but Lucas decided to give his idea a try. As the bludger came towards him, Lucas leaned over causing the broom to twirl. Gripping onto the broom handle, Lucas' body did a complete 360 on the broom, allowing the bludger to pass right by him.
He let out a small little yell. "Woo hoo!!" he shouted in triumph. Sadly, he forgot about the rate at which he was heading towards the ground.

Tessa was going to the pitch tonight. People mentioned that they saw Loki walk outside with a broom. So seeing that try-outs would start soon, maybe a little Hufflepuff practice couldn't hurt. So grabbing her broom, she walked outside of the castle entrance and mounted onto her broom and zoomed to the Quidditch Pitch.
There she saw the red headed Seivert and she also saw Lucas on his broom. She hadn't noticed Saidie yet, for she was just sitting on the stands watching.
"Hey guys!" She yelled over to the boys.
She gave a smirk over by Lucas and giggled to what she was about to say.
"Say Loki, I bet 20 galleons that Hufflepuff will win House Cup this year!" She said smiling

Lucas almost didn't see Tessa and land just short of on top of her. He hit the ground with more of a thud than a crash. Thankfully, his broom nor his limbs snapped in half. He was still good to play if he made the team. But he wasn't going to make the team with bad landings like that.
He picked himself up and looked at the two Hufflepuffs. "Hey guys. Out for some practice, eh? I think Loki just gave me my first lesson in being a Beater," he said with a laugh. "Hey Tessa, how've you been?"
Drachir Nedra-Elxa
08-11-2007, 07:33 PM
Drachir had just woken up from a snooze his hair a little ruffled and a distinct lack of clothes for some reason he automaticlly began to put on his flying gear. He finally awoke standing in the bathroom poking his toothbrush up his nose, realizing he was in his flying gear for some reason it only seem far to his unconscious efforts to go flying. He considered wandering down the stairwell and out the entrance hall but he had only just woken up so the effort seemed a little to great to bother with, he noticed it to be far more practical to drop out of the window.
Drachir hadn't been a keen flyer in his youth, well not a broom anyway and even know he had several little self teachings, most of which were carved as little inscriptions along the broom handle. He took a deep breath and caressed the tip of the broom handle pausing to appreciate the words,"Flying is just falling with style." his eye's swept down and read another useful notation, "The key to flying isn't to stay in the air it's the ability to miss the ground."
All things aside and his eye's closed, he dropped, the brickwork brushed his feet which was indication that it would be a good time to pull up, which is also carved somewhere on the broom.
He noticed Loki and Lucas on the pitch and there was Sadie Tessa not to far away from them and waved; Still groggy he half attempted to yell but it just came out as a mumble, rather than to try again he decided to descend upon the pitch.
Angel C. Starr
15-11-2007, 02:43 PM
Flying. Angel hadn't done it in months, despite all the confidence that she showed to Loki. The truth was that if she avoided it for a while that the fear of flying entered her system. The longer she avoided it, the more the fear grew and attached to her.
Yes it was a ridiculous fear, especially considering if she was falling it would be simple to just turn into her animagus bird form. Still the thought plagued her, causing her to doubt. After all what if she didn't transform in time? What if she couldn't do it? Oh she shouldn't have put off flying so long! Especially if she was going to beat Loki, she needed to practice.
"Here goes everything..." Muttering a little prayer she kicked off, flying into the air. "This isn't so bad."
Being in the air didn't remove the fear, just made it easier to forget. Yes, she was pathetic. Flying up to Loki she worked to remove the worried look from her face.
"So Seivert getting some practice in so I don't beat you too embarrassingly?"
Lucas Montgomery
16-11-2007, 01:05 AM
Lucas looked up and saw another person flying above. It was Drachir and Lucas gave him a wave, motioning for him to join them. Up until now, he realized that he was the only Ravenclaw amongst several Hufflepuffs and wondered if any his own Housemates would join him for some practice. He then saw another figure fly down and join them, but it was not a Ravenclaw.
"Hey Angel," he said and gave a wave. He heard her comment on beating Loki at the first game they'd play. Instantly, Lucas felt the need to say something. "You know, I keep hearing a lot of trash talking, but I haven't actually seen anyone do anything," he said looking around.
"Tessa, did I hear something about a bet while I was crash...er...landing?" he said trying to avoid his earlier mishap.
Morganna Alectophysis
16-11-2007, 04:02 AM
Morganna zoomed up from the broom shed a happy smile plastered on her face. The air whipping at her hair which she had left down on purpose- it was always good to feel the wind in your hair even if it gave you massive knots.
"HEYA GUYS! She yelled to everyone on the pitch." She had her beaters bat in her hand and was ready to get back in the swing of things. Flying over to where Lucas, Loki and Tessa was, she laughed,
"Of course Hufflepuff are going to win the house cup again this year! and if I hear Loki betting otherwise then I will personally beat him with my bat." She winked then looked to Lucas,
"Not to worry Lucas, you'll see plenty of people doing stuff when the games begin, it'll mostly be Hufflepuff kicking everyone's butts though, so may not be too fun to watch for you." She grinned to show she was only joking and meant no offence by her friendly banter.
Nicole Dawson
16-11-2007, 04:33 AM
Making the team as a Seeker was quite surprising to Nicole. She was very excited to have such an important role in the game. She couldn't wait until Quidditch began this year, because she practiced all summer with her sister. Now flying over to the Quidditch pitch, word went around that there was an unofficial practice. Surely she wanted to join in to get as much practice as she could...considering her job was to find the snitch, which isn't a very easy task.
"Hey guys" She smiled as she flew in to the Quidditch pitch as if from nowhere.
She noticed Lucas there which made her smile.
"Hey...um do I know you?" She teased her new boyfriend
Lucas Montgomery

Lucas looked over to his new girlfriend and smiled. "I don't know. It's possible," he said playing along. "I've seen you around the halls," he added walking up to her and smiling. "And I'd like to know you," he said getting close enough for a kiss, but not actually kissing her.
For that moment he forgot about Quidditch and just thought about Nicole.
Tessa Ray
16-11-2007, 06:10 PM
Tessa raised her eyebrows in amusement as Lucas mentioned trash talking and about how she made a bet that Hufflepuff would win. Just before she could say something sarcastic to him, Morganna showed up and added something smart to say to Lucas. Naturally she laughed and flew next Morganna and stuck her tounge out at Lucas.
"Yeah, it won't be fun for you guys... so quit while your ahead!" She teased smiling and sticking her tounge out to show she was also playfully joking as Morganna was.
Then she noticed that her sister came over, and joined the rest of them. This would be an eventful practice, considering her sister and Lucas are constantly flirting and never apart from eachother anymore.
"Hey guys...this isn't love connection...it's Quidditch...get a room!" She said sarcastically as she turned back to her friend Morganna and shook her head and smirked.
"Lets start practicing shall we?" She asked her housemate.
Drachir Nedra-Elxa
16-11-2007, 11:09 PM
Drachir overheard the remarks between Lucas and Nicole, he slowed his decent jumped off his broom a few feet from the ground and landed.
"Ha you can see Hufflepuff are going to win again Loyalty we got's, Loyalty to the game"
He bent over and pulled the Quaffle from the trunk, he peered towards the sky and glanced around at the other player's.
"Heads up!"
He lobbed the Quaffle directly up into the air, If last Hogwarts cup games were anything to go by he was almost certain another Hufflepuff would be on that ball before before you could say Quidditch.
Lucas Montgomery

With Nicole having all of his attention, Lucas probably would have disregarded most of the Hufflepuff hoopla. But Lucas really wanted to give it his all this year. And he was starting to feel a bit competitive. He leaned in a gave Nicole a quick kiss on the lips. "I think we need to give Hufflepuff a run for it's money. What do you say?" he whispered.
He turned back towards the other Hufflepuffs and grinned. "Alright, why not a little practice?" he said looking into the trunk for an extra beater's bat. Finding one, he picked it up and gave it a toss in the air and caught just as easily. "If Hufflepuff is so sure they're gonna win, then let's see the magic at work," he said almost tauntingly.
It was probably a bad idea to trash talk considering Lucas never really played the game before. But his mother was very good and he figured it ran the family, right? And another important question that came to mind was: Where are all the other Ravenclaws?
Andi Forrestal
17-11-2007, 06:14 PM
It had been a long time since Andi was at the Quidditch Pitch. She really wanted to try out last season but the positions were filled and she wanted to try out for Seeker.
Even if she had bad eye sight - hence the fact she wore glasses - her other senses were enhanced especcially her hearing so she could hear even the tiniest sound. Though Andi's parents said it didn't matter if you wore glasses, the teen still nagged about not being able to see without glasses.
Andi clutched her broom and began to walk to the growing crowd of students.
"If Hufflepuff is so sure they're gonna win, then let's see the magic at work," she caught Lucas' sentence when she was in earshot. "Aw, playing a game without me?" She asked as she swung her broom over her shoulder, careful as to not hit anyone with it.
Lucas Montgomery
20-11-2007, 03:54 PM
Lucas smiled and waved to his house mate he had not seen in a while. "Andi!" he said. "Glad you're hear. The Hufflepuffs are outnumbering everyone," he said with a chuckle. "We need to give 'em a run for their money this year," he said looking back to Nicole.
Lucas was wishing that Nicole was in his house now. That way they could be on the same team. And he was sure there would be some benefits to sharing the same house as one's girlfriend. "We got two Ravenclaws and a Slytherin against four Hufflepuff's. This could be fun."
Dide Caerlaverock
20-11-2007, 05:17 PM
"Correction, you have THREE Ravenclaws and a snake against the four Hufflepuffs. Also, I'd be careful there calling Ms. Starr a Hufflepuff, she has a long standing hatred for them. You should hear the songs she sings."
The lanky Ravenclaw walked into the quidditch pitch with his broom thrown over his shoulder. His long violet hair was pull back into a pony tail at the base of his neck so it would stay out of his face as he played. Dide tossed his bag onto the bleachers and soared into the air.
"Hello Loki" Dide said to the former captain of Hufflepuff. "It's good to see you back." He was sincere in what he said, but he still stayed a few feet away from Loki. He was fairly certain the lost Seivert twin still disliked him for the Holly incident and Dide didn't want to stir up any bad blood.
Loki Seivert
21-11-2007, 04:21 AM
Loki jumped into the air and caught the quaffle and tossed it towards Morganna without another word. He watched as more people showed up and grinned with pride that the Hufflepuffs were all there.
However, the usual jovial Loki narrowed his eyes at Dide when he expressed that he was glad to see him back. Loki still didn't want anything to do with him.
'Alright. Are we doing Hufflepuffs against everyone else or do we want to be fair and split everyone up?'
Lucas Montgomery
21-11-2007, 04:29 AM
Lucas looked over to Dide who now joined them and chuckled. "My bad," he said looking towards Angel. Truthfully, Lucas had lost count of who was actually there. He just happened to notice that the Hufflepuffs were outnumbering everyone. And now it looked like the odds were a bit more even. Plus this would give Lucas a chance to see Loki in action.
"I'm all for the Hufflepuffs vs. everyone else. Though, I don't have the final say," he said looking back to everyone. "Anyone else like that idea?" he asked.
Angel C. Starr
21-11-2007, 06:12 AM
"I really don't think it matters who is on what team, I'm going to beat you Seivert. But I guess that divide is fair, I mean they do have me." She said with a wink.
Plus Angel was sure that Loki wanted to play with his old team mates again. She felt a similar bond with her own fellow Gryffies. He hadn't playing Quidditch with them in ages, he must miss it and she knew they'd missed him.
"I know I usually play seeker but I'm going to go back to Chaser for now, considering it would be crazy to get a snitch out."
Plus she missed playing the position, it was more in the action than seeker.
Nicole Dawson
22-11-2007, 07:17 AM
Nicole smiled as she saw Lucas and seemed to not be able to keep her eyes of him. He was like her drug, she was addicted.
For not paying attention for a few minutes, she almost forgot why they were all there and that they were supposed to be playing Quidditch. So when Lucas mentioned the teams for today, she quickly snapped back into reality.
"Yay I get to be on your team!" She said as she flew right next to him.
She listened as everyone gathered their ideas on the teams and everything. She also listened to Angel mentioning the snitch being un playable.
"Well Im seeker too, so maybe we'll just exempt that postition today and I'll be a chaser too?" She asked, trying to add her two cents into the converstion.
Drachir Nedra-Elxa
25-11-2007, 05:13 PM
Drachir's patience was swaying he kicked at the dirt hoping somehow it would encourage play, he just wanted to get on with the game.
"So, what a chaser game? are we going to have goalie's as well then?"
Lucas Montgomery
26-11-2007, 11:07 PM
Lucas flew a little closer to Nicole and smiled. He would have to enjoy the moment while it lasted. Because when the actual Quidditch games would start, they'd be rivals, so to speak. He gave her a wink and then looked down to the others. "I guess goalies would be fine. Why not let Loki make the call? He's the 'all-star' from what I've heard," he said with a chuckle.
Lucas tightened the grip on the beater's bat and looked around. He just remembered that the bludger he dodged was still out and about. "Well, I'm definitely taking a beater position for this. I'm gonna cruise around to find that wayward bludger," he said starting to raise a little higher.
"Wanna come along?" he said smoothly to Nicole.
Angel C. Starr
27-11-2007, 05:28 AM
"Why have positions? Are you all so used to playing properly that you don't know how to do it the rules free way?" Angel said with a grin.
"Let me explain this, it's free for all, basically get the quaffle in and stop the other team. If you want to use bludgers, fine by me though, I mean it's sure to keep the game exciting."
Grabbing the quaffle Angel played with it, tossing it in the air as she talked. It had been too long since she'd had a free for all crazy game of Quidditch.
"I like to call this game 'Beat the Huffies'."
Tessa Ray
30-11-2007, 05:17 AM
She listened as everyone was wondering what their postions would be. Tessa would be keeper ofcourse, since that was her postion. It didn't matter though, she also played chaser so either postions were acceptable to her.
She smirked to Angel's comment about the name of the game.
"Oh yeah?" She asked Angel
"I believe the game is called 'Huffies win' "
She cocked her head and childishly stuck her tounge out at the Gryffindor.
Andi Forrestal
01-12-2007, 02:10 AM
Andi listened to everyone but, like Drachir, was loosing patience quickly and she wanted to get on with the game as well. "So are we going to start?" She asked, leaning against her broom.
"I understand the whole, free for all thing, and it sounds fun."
Drachir Nedra-Elxa
01-12-2007, 01:09 PM
Drachir had been watching the ball quite intently, his eyeballs bounced about in his skull trying to keep track of it's movements. His hand had been caressing Penbwl's whistle for as long as the quaffle had seen daylight.
The words 'Free for all' had been enough to consummate the entirety of rules. To illiterate with Drachir's mode of thought, all that was needed was; hat, goggles, whistle, quaffle, goal, Drachir (entirely necessary). Oh and a broom that's always quite useful.
He quietly tied the flaps of his favourate flying hat behind his ears, pinged the goggles onto his forehead, stepped across the broom handle, pulled his whistle from his pocket and held it to his lips. The forefinger on his other hand trailed across the carving's on the broom handle spelling "Up is generally a good direction" he blew the whistle then yelled.
"Game on!"
Stuffing the whistle back into his pocket he leapt into the air. His target insight, he snatched the ball from Angel mid-air and projected himself at high velocity into the space between opposing goal's and the remaining grounded player's.

Lucas blew Nikki a kiss and soared off into the air to keep an eye out for the bludgers. He was really hoping to do well today. Maybe he could make an impression with everyone aside from his new look. The idea had merit, but he would have to ponder on it later. He could see a bludger headed his way and he got himself ready.
He took a quick swing and hit it with his bat. Where it went, was anyone's guess at this point. He obviously mastered the art of hitting a bludger. Now it was just a matter of practice when it came to actually aiming the hit in a player's direction.
Nicole Dawson
10-12-2007, 04:58 AM
Nicole prepared herslef as everyone started the game. She was nervous and excited. It was her first time to show off her moves, especially in front of Lucas. Smiling after he blew her a kiss, Nicole pretended she caught the kiss and placed it on her chest as if she placed it to her heart.
Afterwards, she zoomed around the field to try to figure out who had the quaffle.
Drachir Nedra-Elxa
10-12-2007, 06:44 PM
Drachir could hear a faint whistle behind him, as curios as he was, he decided to ignore the rule carved "look where your going" instead he looked round to notice, a bludger rather close.
He turned to face forward to notice, a goal hoop even closer to him, he found himself within a situation best described as "being between a rock and a hard plaice" Only the rock could fly and it was closing the space it had between itself and the hard plaice very rapidly.
The goal hoop bowed, the Bludger closed the gap, the Quaffle continued forwards and Drachir was launched into an unconscious backwards spiral.
Loki Seivert
13-12-2007, 02:35 AM
Loki jumped onto his broom and chased after Drachir, hoping that if Drachir was surrounded by the other team, he would throw it to Loki. However, something else occurred and Loki spotted the quaffle in the air again after Drachir hit the hoop. He extended his arm outwards and grabbed the quaffle just in time before anyone else got it.
He turned around and tossed it through the hoop effortlessly. 'Hufflepuff has this hoop. The inferior houses has the other hoop.' He pointed down to the other end and reached to grab the quaffle again.
He threw it with all of his might towards Morganna.
Lucas Montgomery
23-12-2007, 05:39 AM
Lucas scoffed at the comment of "inferior houses" even though Loki may have had a point. Lucas was still somewhat new to the game, but he had enough knowledge to know what to do. However, in his position, pursuing the quaffle was not an option. He needed a....there it was!
He looked around and saw a bludger moving about through the air. He took off in it's direction, bat in hand. He moved past it and gave it a good whack with his bat. He seemed to have mastered hitting the thing; now where it would end up, is another story.
