Character's History:
William was born into a quite powerful family. His father was a very famous author and theorist on just about any topic dealing with magic. His mother didn’t really do much besides enjoy the life granted to the wizarding world elite. William never really had a permanent residence; instead he was always being taken from mansion to mansion so his father could turn out a new volume that would be reviewed as nothing short of phenomenal. The only real constants of William’s life were his studies and his ability to get into trouble. Growing up he had never been the brightest boy, especially since his father hoped that he would live up to his extraordinary expectations. Although the boy was quite bright, he was nowhere near the level of his father’s intelligence, and as such his father viewed him as dimwitted.
When he realized that he would never live up to his father’s grand expectations he cast aside his current goals and means and instead adopted a life of deviance. He started to pick up the habits of some of the shadier members of his family. He started to sneak into his father’s dark arts books, and generally do anything he could to get into what he wasn’t supposed to. The boy certainly had a way with magic, but didn’t exactly take up the same level of mischief expected of magically inclined youth. Instead of dungbombs and pranks, he was known for his incredible acts of cruelty to the family servants and even his younger relatives. On one such occasion his father was so enraged that he threatened to arrange a visit to Askaban for his son. William was inwardly a little shocked at the threat but was quick to call his father’s bluff.
When William’s father realized that his son was destined to be trouble, and follow in the footsteps of most Malfoys he decided that the last effort to redeem his son would be if he were accepted to Hogwarts. He hoped that a stint of time with strict administrators and a castle full of Half-blood and Muggleborn students would humble him. He was only too happy to have William shipped off when the owl delivered the letter of acceptance in the later months of the summer.
Character's Appearance:
For a troublemaker William is quite particular about his appearance. He has his platinum blonde hair cut so that he may slick it back like many other Malfoy males. His eyes are a very light and icy blue that appear so pure and solid that they look almost fake. He is a bit short for a boy of his age standing at 5’6” and also a bit slender although he is not exactly skinny due to his strict exercise routine. His face is slender and rounds into a solid chin, and his complexion is a little tan but for the most part pale. Most of his off time he wears solid black with leather coat.
Character's Personality:
William is serious, but clearly a trouble maker. He is known among many for being cruel to anybody that he sees as an inferior, which is not only limited to non-purebloods. He is outwardly very rude and straightforward, but there is clearly intelligence behind it. Many people would think that he goes out of his way to be a deviant since it seems to be unnatural for anybody to be that cruel all of the time.
In William’s time at Hogwarts he has found it more adaptive at times to play the role that others might like or dislike, or in some way shift his personality at will. He mainly uses this as a tool to get others believe that he is aloof or more of a normal teen boy than he really is.
