Mistletoe Kissing Fun

[Mason Brown]

It was early December which meant only one thing for Mason as he ran along the corridor to the nearest empty herbology classroom. He pushed the door open and ran to the teachers desk, where he found various plant pots. He found the one with a paper tag bearing his name. Yes, it had grown perfectly. His very own Mistletoe plant.

Without a care for the plant, Mason pulled off a twig containing some berries and leaves. This was going to be great! He raced out of the classroom and looked down either end of the corridor with a face of unconcealed excitement. Free kisses...Free Kisses, His mind screamed out at him.

He spotted his first victim and ran towards her, hoping to take her by surprise.

"Mistletoe!" He called out to her as he held it above his head.

[Lucas Montgomery]

Lucas was walking down the hall-way when he saw Mason rush around a corner. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he wanted to investigate. He slowly peered around the corner and was now standing behind Mason. He saw Mason holding a sprig of some plant over his head. It became clear to Lucas what it was, when Mason stated it was mistletoe. What was unclear was who it was trying to get a holiday kiss from. Lucas couldn't see who it was from his vantage point.

However, Lucas thought he might have some fun with this. He slow drew out his wand and waited for the right moment. He practiced a quick swish and flick and got ready. Surely Mason would find this just a bit on the funny side.

[Sadie Magnas]

"Mistletoe!"

A voice cried out from behind Sadie. Turning her head her eyes landed on Mason who looked rather enthusiastic. What was he going on about? Looking up she saw that he was holding up a bit of a plant... Strange.

"Um... yes it is... Why are you holding it above your head?" Sadie blinked dumbly at the twig of berries and leaves. "Are you playing a game? How do you play?" She tilted her head to the side as she looked back at him. She was being completely serious.

Sadie had no idea what mistletoe was for.

((ooc: I am not sure if Russia knows of this tradition since it's a big one, but I thought it would be funny if she didn't know what it was))

[Thom Seivert]

Thom was still sore from having his mohawk shaved off and on his head was a green beanie to match his Slytherin uniform. He walked down the hallway and spotted Mason running up to Sadie with mistletoe in his hand.

Unsure of what he was doing, Thom ran up behind Sadie and pointed to the plant.

'It means whoever is standing under it has to kiss!' As he ran up to her, Thom shifted so that he was under it as well.

'And well, Mason... I guess we're it.' Thom leaned in and laid one right on Mason's lips. 'Oooh, you are a good kisser!'

[Mason Brown]

Mason's eyes widened as Thom leaned in and planted a kiss on his lips. He had intended Eva to be the first Seivert that he kissed, not Thom! He pulled back in shock, his cheeks rising to the red color not dissimilar to the type that used to adorn Thom's head in the shape of a mohawk.

"Oooh, you are a good kisser!" Thom commented after they separated. Mason was unsure how to take that compliment. I mean, he hadn't been trying his best because it was a guy...but it was nice to be complimented, even if it was by someone of the same sex.

"Thanks." Mason said unsure of what to say. "You kiss good,too?" He said hoping that it was the right thing to say to someone of the same sex who just kissed you.

Mason looked over at Sadie and moved the Mistletoe away from Thom and back over to Sadie, with a bit more emphasis on the sharp movement to ensure there wouldn't be a repeat performance.

"So now that Thom has shown you how it's done..." Mason said, nodding upwards at the mistletoe before looking at Sadie.

[Sadie Magnas]

Sadie's face blushed when the guy that interrupted Mason came over and kissed him. Well... that was... different. Sadie giggled however when Mason sounded confused when he told the boy that he was an alright kisser too.

"So now that Thom has shown you how it's done..."

Sadie looked confused as she looked around. Thom? She didn't see Thom. The only other person there was the guy in the beanie-... Oh... wow he looked different without his hair and wearing a hat.

"Thom?... wow... You really need to grow your hair back fast... I didn't even realize that was you!"

Sadie's attention was once again taken away as she looked up. Mason was holding the mistletoe right above her head. Once again she blushed... Mason wanted to kiss her? Mason was cute, but she had never thought about him like that before.

"I... um... I don't know if I want to kiss you after Thom... From what I hear it's hard to top a Seivert's kiss..." She blushed but smiled to Mason, completely forgetting Thom was there. Without his mowhawk, he wasn't that noticeable as before.

"But if you don't mind someone who isn't as experienced, sure."

[Lucas Montgomery]

Lucas almost dropped his wand when he heard Sadie's voice. He peered quikcly around Mason to see her. Now he really wanted to use the Wingardium Leviosa spell. Mason was his friend, but Lucas wasn't really keen on Sadie being the first "victim" of the mistletoe. However, he heard Thom's voice jump in and before he knew it, it appeared as though Thom kissed Mason!

Even though no one could see it, Lucas' eye go really wide. What was Thom's deal? He remembered what Thom said to him after the make-over. Maybe Thom like both boys and girls? Weird. However, after the kiss, Mason was trying again to get Sadie to kiss him. Lucas should not have been jealous at all. He was Nicole and cared for her very much. But a part of him wanted to put a stop to this.

Lucas put his wand away and walked up next to Mason on his other side. He made sure he was just under the mistletoe as well. "Now hold on, Mason. Don't Prefects get first dibs on a kiss?" Lucas said with a grin. He gave Thom a smirk, as if to say this is really funny. The thought never crossed Lucas' mind that Thom could just as well kiss him.

[Valentina Way]

"Well well well..." Valentina said as she approached the group. From what it looked like to her, everyone wanted to kiss Mason. Thom, it wasn't very surprising...Sadie, at least she's a girl... but Lucas?!

She didn't know what to think of Mason right now. Just because she didn't like him the way he liked her shouldn't have meant the end of their friendship. Val hadn't seen Death in a while, and figured maybe this would be a good time to rekindle the friendship.

She gave them all a smile and made sure to not stand under the mistletoe. She only wanted to rekindle the FRIENDship.

"Is there another kissing spell on the loose or what?" She asked with a grin.

[Sadie Magnas]

"Mason was showing me the mistletoe game... but I'm starting to think that it's a prank the boys are playing on me." Sadie smiled and joked. That had to be the reason. Also, if they were serious, one of them would have kissed her by now. No any minute the three of them would turn around and then try to ask Val for a kiss.

That was fine, Sadie needed to keep her thoughts from boys.... even though Mason and Lucas were very easy on the eyes... so was the other guy... oh wait... the other guy was Thom...

"Did you want to play Mistletoe Val?"

[Mason Brown]

Mason noticed Lucas behind him and rolled his eyes at his comment about prefects being first. He was really enjoying his power as Ravenclaw prefect, had he been like that when he was Hufflepuff prefect. He hadn't been that bad, had he?

He saw Valentina come over and he panicked. He didn't want to kiss her, especially after everything that had happened between them. It would feel odd to kiss her when they weren't even on speaking terms.

"Did you want to play Mistletoe Val?" He heard Sadie ask.

Mason leant forward and kissed Sadie. It seemed like the most logical thing to do. He would annoy Lucas, hopefully. He would also stop himself from having to kiss Valentina and hopefully make her jealous too. The fact he was getting a cheeky kiss from one of the prettiest girls in school was a happy bonus.

He kissed her gently on the lips, deciding against making it too passionate, but he did feel a slight flutter as his lips met hers.

[Sadie Magnas]

As soon as the words left Sadie's mouth, someone else's mouth was on hers. With eyes wide the only thing she could see was the other face that was pressed against her, and Lucas out of the corner of her eyes... What should she do? Her cheeks became really red. There was only one thing to do... Kiss him back.

So she kissed him back, and her heart felt like it was going to leap out of her chest. The kiss was unexpected, sweet, and everything Sadie had imaged a first kiss to be (if not a little bit more passionate). The only thing that was wrong with that thought was that this was not her first kiss, but her first kiss with Mason.... So in a way still a first kiss.

When their lips were no longer touching, Sadie said the only thing on her mind, "... Did I win?"

[Dominic Lisciare]

There was a group in the hallway and Dominic was surely bored. He had a hop in his step as he cooly slid up to the crowd. "Ah, fellow studentsss, what have we here?" He viewed the strange kid holding some mistletoe. "Hmmm, you know, mistletoe is actually parasitic. To me, the user is nothing other than what he uses." He wondered at his comment for a moment and then added, "But, I must say, being parasitic on the lover-ly ladies of this school can't cause too much harm, can it?"

He looked at the two girls standing in front of him and couldn't choose who he'd want to kiss. "Why not both?" he thought. "So, who first?" he said with a cheeky smile.

[Valentina Way]

Valentina's eyes widened as Mason suddenly kissed Sadie. It wasn't unexpected since everyone was kissing everyone, but the kiss... it wasn't so much a friendly one that she was expecting Mason to give Sadie. It was way more passionate than she imagined.

A slight tingle of jealousy ran through Val's body, though she, one, can't tell what it was, and two, even if she could she would never admit to it. She only wanted to do one thing right now. Pay Mason back.

She looked around. Lucas... her best friend Nikki's boyfriend. Thom... her best friend Morganna's boyfriend. WHAT THE HELL?! She was almost about to pull Sadie in for a kiss when Dominic came up and said some stuff that Val had no interest in.

"Yeah.. that's very interesting." Valentina lied having heard nothing of what Dom had said. "I guess we should kiss!"

With that she pulled Dominic's head down and planted her lips right on his, giving him quite a kiss. As passionate as she could muster, even over doing it. This was quite funny to see since Dom was really tall and Val literally had to pull him down by grabbing his collar, and she was standing on her tip toes. Val wasn't even thinking about how awkward this probably was for the Gryffindor that she barely even knew.

[Mason Brown]

"Did I win?" Mason laughed at Sadie's comment after they parted from each other. He felt a little light-headed and his face must have looked like a radioactive tomato the way it glowed.

"Yeah, you won...You're certainly a better kisser than Thom...and Va.." His sentence stopped as he watched Val kissing some other guy who he had never met in his life. Was this her new boyfriend? Had she broke Death's heart like she had broken his?

Mason's attention was taken away from Sadie as he stared at this new kiss. His eyes narrowed as he continued to watch it. His teeth grinding against each other as he got more and more jealous. He was about to say something to her when he remembered that he had no reason to be jealous. He had just been kissing someone else.

"Lucas...I'm sure Valentina would be happy to kiss you." Mason smiled as he handed the Ravenclaw the mistletoe. "I'd imagine Thom would be too." He grinned at the Slytherin.

[Dominic Lisciare]

He couldn't believe it. He was being kissed. And by none other than Valentina Way. If his mouth wasn't occupied he'd probably have sighed. He grabbed a leg and pulled it around him until she was about eye level with him, her legs around his waist. "Joy to the world!" the song started to play in his mind, but only this particular line, over and over, until it faded away and he only felt lips.

[Sadie Magnas]

Sadie blushed to both Mason's compliment about her kissing, and to the view in front of her. Seemed like Dom was making friends with Val rather quickly. Were the two dating? How come Val never mentioned anything to her about it.

"Um... thanks Mason... your a good kisser too... Sorry I can't really compare you to Thom..." Sadie never kissed Thom, only when Valerie was in control of her body did her lips meet the Seiverts and Sadie didn't remember one bit of it. Sadie then remembered that Lucas was there, she didn't want Lucas to feel bad... he just saw her get kissed by another boy and she just told him that she thought he was a good kisser.

"Um... I think I need to get going... you know, practice and all that." Leaving sounded like a good idea, but the boys were still cornering her and she couldn't really get past them without pushing them out of the way. So she just waited until one of them moved... If one of them would move.

[Thom Seivert]

Thom laughed at Mason's unexpected response to Thom's kiss. Well, Mason was decent looking and he mostly did it for a laugh, but he was glad that Mason didn't take it too seriously.

He watched as everyone started to kiss everyone else and Thom looked mildly surprised at the enthusiasm they all displayed.

'Maybe I should start carrying around a mistletoe all year around if it makes you guys do this..' Thom commented and turned to Sadie when she announced that she was going to leave.

'Oh, ok.' Thom stepped out of her way.

[Sadie Magnas]

"Thanks," Sadie smiled, but not really looking at Thom, or anyone else for that matter.

Sadie was a bit disappointed that no one tried to really stop her, but things were getting interesting and it seemed like Sadie's purpose for being there was over. Carrying her books, she made way to find Mrs. Farsprig, or possibly Ms. Nightingale.

"I'll see you guys later."

[Lucas Montgomery]

Lucas watched the kiss transaction between Sadie and Mason. He did his best to look expressionless while it was happening, but on the inside, Lucas wanted to rip off Mason's bone arm and beat him on the head with it. He knew he shouldn't think those things, but he held a soft spot for Sadie and always would. He then wished Nikki was there to kiss. He'd show 'em how it's done.

Lucas turned to Mason and took the mistletoe from him. "Thanks, pal," he said trying to keep cool. He pulled out his wand and gave it a swish and flick. "Wingardium Leviosa!" he said. Lucas watched as the mistletoe hovered in the hair and made it's way over his head. "There we go. That makes things a bit easier," he said with a chuckle.

He turned to Mason after his comment of kissing Valentina. "Val will kiss me?" he said with a chuckle. "Alright, how about it, Val? Just a quick one," he said with a wink. He had no idea if she was even for the idea, but what could it hurt. It wasn't like he was going to make out with her. And it had far better appeal than kissing Thom.

However, she was currently making out with the new guy, Dominic. Well, so much for getting a kiss from a girl. He looked over to Thom and narrowed his eyes. "Don't even think about it, bunky!"

[Angel C. Starr]

Angel saw the students kissing each other, and for a brief moment she was worried some kissing spell had occurred again. It was a great relief to see the mistletoe. Being a prefect maybe she should have said something to discourage them, like remind them that colds could pass that way, but being Angel, she had to join in.

Conjuring a sprig of mistletoe onto her hair barrette a mischievous smile appeared on her face.

"Oh not so quick little missy!" Angel said to the rushing away Sadie, stopping her by standing in front of her. "Where is my kiss?"

Now Angel was quite openly interested in girls, despite her unwillingness to date the, but she still only thought of Sadie as a friend. As a friend she liked to tease sexually...

"I mean it's the rules of Mistletoe...don't want to displease a prefect after all."

[Valentina Way]

Valentina's eyes shifted to the corner to see if Mason was watching. When she noted that he was, she closed her eyes and continued to kiss Dominic passionately, despite the fact that she barely even knew him.

However, she herself was even a little surprised when Dom picked her up and was now holding her by her legs. She wasn't one to push people away from moments like this, but she almost felt like... she was cheating on Death. This was silly! She hadn't even seen Death in forever! They weren't even dating...or were they? Ugh... hopeful thinking.

Valentina continued to kiss back as she thought this, thinking of a way to pull herself away. When she heard Lucas offer her a kiss, she pulled her head away and hopped off of Dominic after a while.

"Well then! Thanks for that." She said with a smile at Dominic. She wasn't thinking about how awkward it could get once the kiss ended. So she randomly gave the guy a pat on the back and then turned to look at Lucas.

"Of course I'll take a peck!" She said and leaned in to give him a friendly peck on the lips. It was completely friendly since she was quite a loyal friend, and wasn't attracted to Lucas that way. She only hoped that Nikki didn't randomly show up and thought the wrong thing. Though, her best friend should know she wouldn't do that to her.

[Sadie Magnas]

Sadie didn't get very far. Standing in her way was Angel... and there was that dreaded mistletoe. Sadie didn't realize it but she was starting to step backwards, away from the Italian girl and the green and red plant in her hair. It wouldn't be long until Sadie was back into the corner with the other boys.

"You know... I would... but I've got... a test! I've got this major test coming up that I need to study for." Sadie's eyes kept going back and fourth from the Mistletoe in Angel's hair and to Angel's lips. Soon Sadie's back was up against the wall...

"I mean it's the rules of Mistletoe...don't want to displease a prefect after all."

"No..." Sadie squeaked out. Sadie had always wanted to be more experience in kissing and in romance in general, but this was getting a little crazy. Who was next? Morgs?!

Sadie bit her bottom lip nervously as she waited for Angel to kiss her. It would only be for a second... right?

[Professor Alexis Darkwater]

Alexis was walking down the hall when she saw a group of people...kissing? She blinked for a second as she looked at the crowd. For once Alexis lost her cool exterior and stood dumfounded at the crowd. Raising an eye brow she walked forward towards the group of students as it looked like now.

"What," she paused as her eyes took in the whole scene, "is going on here?"

It was then that she noticed the twig like branch in someones hand.\

OOC: Yes I'm allowing Darkwater to join the fun..*snicker* have at her.

[Dominic Lisciare]

"Well, that surely was enjoyable while it lasted," thought Dominic. He realized he was left among a few guys and no more available ladies. They had wondered away. Then he looked a bit to his right and saw someone he hadn't met before. He couldn't say he had a preference for tall dark and beautiful, but she was enough of it for him to give a go.

"Excuse me, miss, but I'm afraid you've entered a no passing zone. I'll have to fine you." Boy, could he be lame or what? "That'll be one kiss please." He said.

ooc: I don't know much detail about darkwater since I haven't had the chance to check out char. profile, but let me know if I have the tall dark and beautiful bit wrong.

[Nicole Dawson]

Nicole was walking down the hall when she seen a bunch of familiar faces...kissing eachother? This she had to see for herself.

Walking down the hall towards the crowd, she noticed her friends and her boyfriend Lucas. Apparently, Lucas and Valentina had a short kiss. Yes, she witnessed it. She didn't really find any reason to get mad about it. Valentina was one of her best friends. It wasn't like she made out with him or anything. If it was someone like Saidie...okay, then a catastrophie will overcome them. Val was in the clear...lets hope they don't make a habit of this.

An idea struck her mind...she was going to pretend she was so offended. It was the most brilliant plan. She liked pulling fun pranks like this.

After the two lip-locked for that brief second, Nicole stood in front of them with her arms crossed.

"You got some explaining to do...both of you" She said putting on her most serious face.

In the inside she was laughing all over. Hopefully she wouldn't blow her cover. Boy this was going to be fun!

[Lucas Montgomery]

Lucas smiled at Valentina and closed his eyes for a brief second as they had a very short kiss. It was meaningless and harmless. And he could now say he did kiss Valentina at some point, he thought to himself. Even though there was no attraction between the two of them, he have to be as blind as Trall not to notice that Valentina was a very pretty girl.

Before his mind could ponder on it anymore, he heard a familiar voice coming from the front of them. It was what he feared, Nicole witnessing the whole thing. Was he glad that Sadie wasn't the first person he kissed. He looked to Nicole and then to Val and then back to Nicole again. "Uh....hi!" he said somewhat flustered. Think, boy, think!

"We were just....uh....being traditional!" Lucas said fumbling for the right words. "And with mistletoe you have to be traditional," he said waving his wand. He motioned for the mistletoe to hover over Nicole's head this time. "See! Gotta be traditional, Nikki," he said trying to sound smooth. "What do you say? Shall we show 'em how it's done?"

[Loki Seivert]

'Who brought the Mistletoe out?' Loki walked in on the kissing party and witnessed Lucas and Val kissing and Dom targeting Darkwater? Loki watched with mild interest to see what the Potions Mistress was going to do. Loki himself wasn't gunning for anyone there but he certainly wouldn't mind if one of the girls kissed him.

[Angel C. Starr]

"Oh you won't escape that easily!" Angel said as she gave Sadie a quick peck on the lips. Pulling back she noticed the look of worry on her friend's face. "Sadie, it's just a simple kiss, nothing to get all flustered over."

Her back stiffened as she heard Loki's voice, the look on her face was similar to that of a kid caught with their hand in a cookie jar. Taking a deep breath she recited a few facts in her mind: they weren't dating, it was just a little kiss between friends, she had no romantic feelings for Sadie, and she loved Loki. It had a mild calming effect on her, a smile coming over her lips.

"It was Mason who caused all this trouble, but I have to admit I got involved out of my own free will. After all, Mistletoe is a tradition..."

With a little strut and skip she headed over to her favorite Seivert. This was the off chance she had been hoping for, and she was going to take it.

"Don't you agree?" Pulling the sprig of Mistletoe out of her hair she got on her tiptoes to put it in his. "And I think you are now under the Mistletoe."

[Mason Brown]

"It was Mason who caused all this trouble, but I have to admit I got involved out of my own free will. After all, Mistletoe is a tradition..." He heard Angel say to Loki.

Mason scrunched up his nose. Angel was quick enough to blame him, yet she was happily reaping the rewards, having kissed Sadie and was now attempting to kiss Loki.

Mason looked around and saw Nicole standing beside Lucas and Val looking rather unhappy at catching the pair together. Mason couldn't help smiling - it looked like the Ravenclaw prefect had gotten caught out which was a pity because he was being so smooth beforehand.

"Yeah...Nicole, there is nothing going on between Val and Lucas. I mean, she wasn't even his first choice, he did want to kiss Sadie originally." Mason said, pretending to be unaware of the reaction his words might cause.

[Valentina Way]

Aw...crap... Val thought to herself when she heard Nikki's familiar voice.

She turned to look at Nikki slowly unsure of what to say. She was almost certain that Nikki wouldn't be mad! It was just a peck!

"Oh that was nothing, Nikki! We were just... the mistletoe!" She pointed at the mistletoe.

But before she got far in the explanation, Mason made a comment about Lucas wanting to kiss Sadie first. WHAT the hell was wrong with him? She couldn't believe she even wanted to rekindle their friendship ever now.

"That is not true... YOU wanted to kiss Sadie... and from what I remember, Lucas wanted to kiss you!" She said quickly before Nikki could say anything.

"Seriously, Nikki, don't listen to him bull-sh*t... He's just jealous that..." Valentina stopped herself. She was going to say he's just jealous that Lucas got to kiss her, and not him, but she realized that this could actually be true.

"He's just jealous that I got to kiss Lucas... and... he'd already done it... and wants more... from Lucas..." She tried to save it, but it was pretty much downhill from there. She was thinking so hard she didn't even notice the new arrivals.

[Loki Seivert]

Loki looked at the mistletoe with momentary surprised before quickly smiling at the culprit who hung it over his head.

'Well. Tradition is a tradition.' He winked at her and with a swift movement, he wrapped his arm around her neck, pulled her in and kissed her.

[Sadie Magnas]

Sadie did not want to in where she currently was. She was just kissed by a girl, whom she had no feelings for thankfully but it still confused her. Mason kissed her and she started getting all lightheaded. Then Mason said how Lucas wanted to kiss her in front of Nikki. Now Loki came in and was kissing Angel.

So without saying anything, Sadie made her getaway. Everyone seemed distracted enough, they wouldn't notice that she was gone.

[Lucas Montgomery]

Lucas thought he had achieved panic control by explaining to Nikki just what was going on. And Valentina had backed him up as well. No need for his girlfriend to freak out and start yelling. Well, there shouldn't have been any need. But now, things just got worse. Mason felt it necessary to broadcast that he could have kissed Sadie earlier.

Lucas gave Mason a look of death. He was ready to jab his wand up Mason's nose, but a teacher and two other prefects being there was enough to keep him in line. "Mason?! What the hell man?" he yelled at him. "Not cool, man. Really not cool," Lucas said and then turned to Nikki. Fortunately Val had done some more panic control with her best friend.

However, he was certain that the mention of him and Sadie in the same room would set Nikki off. "Nikki, I'll be honest with you. Mason started with some mistletoe and we all just wanted to have fun with it. Nothing serious on my part," he said looking in her eyes, sounding sincere. "Please believe me."

[Angel C. Starr]

Moving into the kiss Angel's arms entwined around him, her eyes closing. Their last kiss had been approximately .5 minutes after her learning he was alive. Along with his attractiveness returning, he certainly smelled a lot better now.

"And you Mister Seivert have just reminded me why it's my favorite tradition." She spoke in intimate tones, moving her mouth just millimeters away from him own lips. "Course you may have forgotten, I'm supposed to kiss you silly."

Moving in she kissed him, relishing in a feeling she knew might not happen too soon again. Best to make the best of a moment she decided, devoting it all to memory.

"The Christmas season has now truly began!"

[Professor Alexis Darkwater]

"Excuse me, miss, but I'm afraid you've entered a no passing zone. I'll have to fine you." Boy, could he be lame or what? "That'll be one kiss please." He said.

Darkwater raised her eyebrow at Dominic. She then looked to the mistletoe, looked back again to the student, look back at the mistletoe, looked back at the student, and then a slight smirk appeared on her lips. If Zach heard about this he would be kissing everyone in sight, and she didn't want to tempt bad luck..she had enough of it as it was. Plus it was only a little harmless Christmas fun.

"A No passing zone...they must have put that rule in when i was away."

And with that she kissed Dominic squarely on the lips.

OOC: And yeah you had her right. Lol that was kinda fun...i don't get to break her loose that often...

[Mason Brown]

Mason was pleased with the damage that his sly comment had caused but it seemed both Val and Lucas had realised it wasn't as unintentional as he made it seem. He looked around for Sadie but she had made her way to leave. He hadn't even considered what effect his words would have had on her - I mean, Lucas was her ex-boyfriend and everything.

Suddenly feeling rather guilty, Mason excused himself from the group and followed Sadie, who luckily hadn't gotten that far away from them yet.

"Are you mad at me?" Mason asked the sweet Russian student. "I hope you aren't because I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or anything..." Mason rubbed his neck with his bone arm as he realised just how tongue-tied he had become around her.

"Sorry...I'm babbling again." Mason rolled his eyes upward. "I do that...a lot!"

Cian was walking down the hallway decorating things with clusters of Holly that they had been growing in greenhouse 2. He looked a bit silly as he was carrying around the holly in a basket, like a flower girl would. He spotted the mistletoe as he passed the group and would have just ignored them but then he spotted Val and had the urge to say something.

"Did you know that Mistletoe is a parasite?" He frowned to himself as he pinned a bit of Holly to a sword on a statue, his back to the group. Why on earth was he divulging this bit of unnecessary trivia with them all? He wondered whether it had something to do with Grassy's presence (as he liked to call her in his head) then he wondered why this was.

"Plus, the berry's are toxic and medicinal at the same time." He said opening his mouth again before he could stop himself.

[Sadie Magnas]

Sadie was surprised that Mason... or that anyone had came after her. No one ever came after her except for Lucas when Nikki announced that Lucas wanted Rose. She smiled at him, even though she was still slightly upset that he told Nikki that Lucas wanted to kiss her.

"No, I'm not mad at you... really." She licked her lips, "It's just, there is already tension between Nikki and I and... I'd just like to try and keep away from confrontation as much as possible between her and I."

Sadie kind of felt like she was talking down to Mason... she wasn't trying to, she was just trying to let him know that what he said wasn't really cool. "It's not that big of a deal though... Why did you say that though?"

[Valentina Way]

It was funny that in this intense moment, Cian had suddenly appeared carrying something like a flower basket and made some insignificant comment about mistletoes.

Valentina turned slowly to face him. Was he stupid? Clearly there was an intense conversation going on and he was interrupting.

But then on second thought, maybe it was good that there was an interruption. Val changed her facial expression to something mildly softer.

"No, I did not know that. I wonder why it's a tradition to kiss under the Mistletoe..." She said trying to change the subject and atmosphere now, looking over at Nikki and Lucas.

[Nicole Dawson]

Nicole sneered at Mason when he mentioned Lucas and Saidie. That prick..

"What the hell Lucas?" She began to say, but before she could make anything else of the situation, her best friend Val and Lucas explained the situation. She calmed down quickly.

"Good" She said to the two of them. "I was about to say Lucas.. you would be in big trouble!"

She shook her head. Now she wanted to pound Mason's face in. Who did that kid think he is? That ass... oh she'll show him one of these days what it means to mess with Nicole Dawson.

More and more these days, she wasn't liking the Hufflepuffs, besides her twin sister ofcourse.

Deciding to change the subject, she looked to Lucas and smiled.

"Well, where is this mistletoe you guys were talking about? I'd like to get into the action too!"

[Lucas Montgomery]

Lucas gathered that Nikki was really displeased at the site before her. Otherwise she would have noticed the mistletoe that Lucas as hovering over her head with his wand. He smiled and pointed up above Nikki's head. "Well, its right there. If you would like to put it to use....I won't object," Lucas said trying to get back into his smooth grove again.

"Kiss and make up?" he winked at her.

[Loki Seivert]

Loki looked down at Angel and then closed his eyes when she leaned in for another kiss. He suspected that she just wanted another kiss from him but Loki didn't mind it one bit.

He laughed but still had his arm around her shoulders. He watched in amusement as Lucas and Val got into trouble with Nikki. He wouldn't want to be in that situation one bit.

While she would have loved to kiss him for hours, Angel knew to not take advantage of a good situation. With a sigh she moved into Loki’s arm on her shoulders, following his line of vision.

Nikki and Lucas really made an adorable couple, at least when the former didn't want to kill someone. Passion sure ran in the Delonge family.

"I fear the wrath of any relation of Tessa...especially her twin." Angel remarked to her current companion with a smile, remembering when Tessa and her didn't get along so well.

The twins looked alike but they could be quite different in personality, Tessa seemed easier going than Nikki but she liked them mutually. Looking back up at Loki she couldn’t help smiling, she had finally made some progress with him. Sure she hadn’t won his heart, yet, but she wasn’t going to give up.

“I guess at least they know who they are going to the Yule Ball with…”

Nicole nodded with a grin on her face to Lucas' deal to kiss and make up. She wrapped her arms around his waist and raised her head to give him a kiss.

Afterwards, she looked up at him and giggled.

"You do realize that I was only joking about being mad that you kissed Val right?" She asked him giving a mischevious smirk.

Lucas kissed Nikki back and felt a wave of relief and joy. Relief because unnecessary drama was avoided. Joy because kissing Nikki made him always feel happy and special in side. He looked in her eyes and smiled afterwards. He heard her comment and nodded his head in affirmation.

"Well, I had a feeling you weren't that mad. But still, I wanted you to see that I am faithful."
