EH was around for five years before we moved to this new site and the older characters in particular have developed substantially over that time period. The 'Previous Plot Files' section is intended to act as a sort of filing cabinet of background information for every character on EH detailing the threads which contributed to causing changes - minor or major - in the lives/personalities of said character.
Every character on this site should create a thread on their appropriate house board titled with their full name (surname first, like on the profiles). They can then write posts on this thread, each one describing the brief contents of a thread (either past or present) that their character was involved with and how that thread changed their character.
Each post should start with the title of the thread it is refering to. It should either be in bold or underlined like this:
Thread Name Here
or like this:
Thread Name Here
It may also be useful to post a link to the thread (or the page itself if the thread is a long one and it was just one specific incident in that thread that you were refering to) in case anyone wants to read it for themselves.
The idea of the filing cabinet is so that it is never necessary to refer someone back to the old site for information as it will be readily accessible here on the new site.
