Sebrena had arrived late last night at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and today she was determined to find her way around the huge castle before she was sorted. It was as big and as magical as her sisters told her and Sebrena soaked in all the information and sights as she passed the statues and paintings.

She smiled happily as students passed by her, they were all anxious to go the lunch, but Sebrena herself wasn't hungry yet. She was eager to meet new friends, but she still wanted to see the outside of Hogwarts first. She also wanted to write home to her sister Enam about the glory of Hogwarts. It was magnificent!

It took her a bit before she navigated her way outside. She named the forbidden forest by sight and wondered if she would ever see any Merpeople or the giant squid that sat at the bottom of the lake. She read stories of how dangerous it was, but Sebrena had no concept of danger. She wanted to experience it for herself!

With that resolve, she continued to make her way around the grounds, noting the Groundskeeper's hut and the greenhouses until finally she found a smooth enough rock to sit down on. Sebrena wanted to spend a few minutes in silence before going back inside but then she heard footsteps behind her. She turned her head sharply and softly smiled at them, not embarrassed she was staring at them. Most people were supposed to be at lunch, not wandering outside like she was.

"Hello." She remarked, unafraid of starting the conversation or being friendly.

Marcus Drake

Marcus had a dirt crusted shovel slung over his shoulder and a sack over the other. He was wrapped up tight in his old army greatcoat and thick scarf. His ice blue eyes eerie and unnatural to anyone who didn't know him. His face was heavily scarred and pale, his raven black hair swept back in a tight pony tail.

Gaunt and proud the Slytherin offered a smile, his stubby canines pressed on his bottom lip.

He rounded the student, she was obviously new and her scent was over powering to the Werewolf. Ofcourse this tad of information would be kept disclosed from the new student, he'd unfortunately exposed Hollieanda to it and she was now in the fold of those students who knew of his affliction.

" Afternoon' "

His husky russian accent gruff on the air. He spun the shovel and stabbed it point down into the ground and slung the sack from his other shoulder. He rubbed his gloved hands together to get some feeling back into them.

" You must be new here, i've not seen your face before. I'm Marcus, house Slytherin and assistant to the groundskeeper. "

He stuck his left hand out in greeting.

Whoa.

Was all Sebrena could think as she turned to see this boy, no, correction, man standing in front of her with a shovel in his hand wrapped in a gray coat. At first she thought he worked at the school, but then her eyes bugged in surprised at the mention he was in Slytherin and just an assistant.

He seemed.. creepy and terrifying and Sebrena got the goose bumps when he looked at her and spoke with a Russian accent. He seemed almost.. vampiric but of course, that would be impossible for Marcus of House Slytherin to be out during the day not to mention very dangerous for him to be among students.

"Is it that obvious?" She replied with a half grin on her face but then nodded. "Yes, I am new here. My name is Sebrena and I don't have a house yet."

She shrugged at the last part and wondered what house she was going to be put in. She liked all the houses including Slytherin, where this guy was from but it seemed a bit darker than the rest. She slowly took his hand, his paleness clashed with her warm much darker skin, she squeezed, shook it up and down a few times and then let go.

"I was taking my own tour of the place and ended up out here." She gestured to the grounds of Hogwarts. "I've been to most places, but half of them I don't think I'll ever find again. I must have gotten lost a million times!" She rattled on, not very shy when it came to new people.

Marcus gave a hearty laugh to her words and understood that Hogwarts could seem an imposing place, full of wonders and beauties that you only ever saw once or twice in your time at the school of witchcraft. He had witnessed a few himself and longed sorely to find the natural tranquility that held for him. Then again, he was one of the only students who could traverse the Forbidden Forest with next to no problems.

Marcus liked to view himself as no danger to the populace of the school but he knew that was untrue, he'd already unwilling mauled a girl in the past and infected her with the were-disease. His transformations had to become more controlled and isolated, the position of assistant groundskeeper would help immensly with this.

He let his trade mark half smile settle upon his lips and he leaned on the haft of the shovel.

" It's nice to meet you Sebrena. "

He crossed his arms and stuck one leg out behind him, easing into a more comfortable slouched position.

" Hogwarts has a terrible habit of turning you around on yourself, but peice of advice, dont go near the Forbidden Forest after dark. It gets....dangerous. "

He warned, but not in a stern way, more directing it at common sense.

" What house are you hoping for? I know alot of students take the house rivalries seriously, i've never had a care for them. "

Sebrena instantly looked back at the forbidden forest, stationed behind her as Marcus told her to stay out of it after dark. She read that students weren't supposed to go in there, hence the term 'forbidden' but Sebrena was curious to what type of creatures lurk out there.

"I heard there were unicorns and centaurs." Sebrena listed the more interesting creatures of the forbidden forest but not the most dangerous. "Have you been in the forbidden forest being the assistant groundskeeper and all?" She turned back towards him as he asked his next question about houses.

"Geez, I'm not sure, actually. They all have their virtues. Ravenclaw for cleverness, Gryffindor for bravery, Hufflepuff for loyalty and Slytherin for ambition." Sebrena looked sideways at Marcus, wondering what he was ambitious about. He did look like a stereotypical Slytherin, with the unnatural blue eyes and weird scars.

"My older sisters were in Gryffindor. Maybe I'll take after them." She shrugged her shoulders. "Frankly, I'm just happy to be away from home all these years. Crazy Aunts and competitive siblings takes a toll after a while." She remarked, not realizing that maybe she shouldn't reveal her entire history to someone she just met.

Franz Kaiser

Staying up late meant not waking up in time for his morning work out before classes. Having worked out almost every day since he knew how, he felt like he was having workout withdrawals, and so decided to skip lunch to go for a run.

After about 10 minutes in to his work out, he noticed two students sittng near the forbidden forest. When he got close enough, he realized that one of them happened to be Marcus Drake. Franz knew him as the Slytherin that either dated Eva, or was dating her again. Franz wasn't certain, and never met the guy before, so decided to meet him and see what he was like (or what Eva saw in the guy).

Upon approaching the two, he noted that he had never met the girl before. This was all very unlike Franz to just go out and start greeting people that weren't friends with him, but something just made him want to do it today.

"It's lunch time, you know?" He said to the two revealing his German accent. Though his English had improved, it was proving more difficult to lose the accent.

"I'm Franz," He introduced himself.

Sebrena whipped her head around to see another boy walking towards them. As he got closer, Sebrena could tell he was wearing work out clothes and he seemed a bit sweaty. He was completely opposite of Marcus, with light brown hair and slightly tanner skin. He commented that it's lunch time and Sebrena shrugged her shoulders.

"So? Are you the lunch police?" She replied a bit sassily but noticed he had a German Accent. There was a diverse crowd of people at Hogwarts and she liked that. She wondered who else was from other places.

"I'm Sebrena." She responded.
