Miranda sat at her desk making notes for the next Charms class. She expected Ms. Magnas to make her way to the class room at any moment. She was happy to see a student show some interest and want to do more. Plus there was the feeling that Sadie Magnas' intentions were not selfish. That the girl seemed genuinely interested in doing more.

She did not have any previous experience with Sadie in the school but the girl's grades spoke volumes. By far, she was the best in the school. Sadly, the Slytherin, Seth was right behind her and Loveless could care less about the boy. She knew he was a troublemaker but she couldn't argue with the grades.

She drew her wand and waved it in the corner of the room. A tea set flew over to her desk and began to brew.

Sadie made sure to be on time when meeting with Ms. Loveless. Sadie didn't mention to Eva about her plans since she knew that Ms. Loveless rubbed Eva the wrong way. Why, Sadie didn't know. Ms. Loveless was brilliant when it came to charms, and Sadie had the most respect for her because of it. Also Ms. Loveless was probably a much more patient professor than Professor Brooks.... Ugh... Brooks.

Sadie's nose no longer had the splint and her face looked compeltely normal, however if one looked extermly closely you might be able to tell that her nose had a tiny indentation from where it was hit. The Nurse said that it would go away soon and Sadie hoped she was right. As Sadie entered the classroom, she carried with her books, her wand, parchment, quills, any magical items that one would use for charms (something that was for a more experienced level, not that Sadie tried it yet but with Ms, Loveless's help she was sure she would be able to master it in no time. In Sadie's bag was something that she hadn't carried with her for a while. Julia was sitting inside, wanting to come since she heard so much about this instructor from Sadie that her interest was peeked.

"Good afternoon Professor Loveless," Sadie smiled and approached her professor. She stood, waiting to be offered a seat as she remembered that Eva told her Ms. Loveless had worked at the finishing school Eva attended and Sadie still remembered the tutoring from her own governess.

Miranda looked up from her notes and saw that Sadie had entered the room. On time as well. That would go well in the girl's favor. It would have helped more if Sadie was a Ravenclaw, but a Gryffindor was still a good student to have. Slytherins tended to be the most troublesome.

"Welcome, Ms. Magnas. Please have a seat," she said. Waving her wand, a tea cup flew over to the desk where the girl would sit. "Tea?"

"I am glad you are interested in doing more for the class. And I'm glad you contacted me in private. It was subtle. Which is something I've always felt charms should be when first learning the skill," she said standing up walking in Sadie's direction.

"That Slytherin boy, Seth thought it would keen of him to show off in my class during that first lesson. While it good to take pride in one's skill, one must also remain humble," she said with a sigh. "That is something I do not see of him. You, on the other hand, I do see this."

Miranda stopped at the front of her desk and leaned against it. She studied the girl for a moment to see what she was dealing with. It was no secret that Sadie was a skilled dancer and Miranda found that to be a charming ability to have without the use of magic.

"With my curriculum, there will be a few challenges for many students. But I suspect you will be able to handle it."

Sadie gave another smile once Ms. Loveless offered her a seat. With as much poise and ease Sadie fell into her seat, laying her bag on the floor right against the chair and making sure to cross her legs at the ankles, never over her thighs. That was something Sadie always remembered from her grandmother.

"Yes, please. I would love some," Sadie replied to being offered tea. She wasn't much of a tea drinker but Sadie was starting to get used to drinking it more and more. Sadie felt like beaming as Ms. Loveless was giving her those praises, as small as they might be. It was totally different than being in Mr. Brooks class, though things would hopefully be getting better now that she would at least get on the broom.

"Seth does has his own way about things..." It wasn't a comment that sided on either side, but Seth was pretty burned about what happened in their class a few days ago. Sadie was pretty sure that Seth and herself were both at the top of the class, but it seemed like she had the advantage. However this wasn't even in Sadie's thoughts until Ms. Loveless brought it up.

"I am very excited for the challenge Ms. Loveless. You wont be dissappointed." Sadie was confident, but not cocky as she spoke... ok inside she was feeling a little cocky. Sadie wondered if now would be a good idea to bring up her ideas that she had for the class to help with class assignments to be a bit more interactive and also something that incouraged students from other houses to work together. That was something Sadie wanted to see work as most students tended to stick with their own house.

Still, Sadie waited patiently until she was sure it was the right time to bring up her ideas. For all she knew Ms. Loveless might already have something like that in the works.

Miranda raised an eyebrow at the talk of Seth and any sort of defense. Clearly Sadie was trying stay neutral and the Charms teacher decided to respect that. This wasn't meant to be a bad mouthing discussion of students in her class. If that were the case, Loveless could have gone on for hours about Eva Seivert.

"Well as you know, Ms. Magnas, part of my course will involve the creation of your very own charm. It does not have to be elaborate but something useful. I initially did not care what it had to do with, but I feel the charm should be pointed to something that each student does on a regular basis. An aide of sorts," she said simply and then drank some tea.

"I would like you to help aid the students on this projects...be a middle man...woman, so to speak. I have need of a competent assistant in the classroom," she said setting her tea cup down.

"I believe you can do this. Do you have any thoughts?"

Sadie's eyes widend as Professor Loveless spoke about the class course and what would be needed of her in order to aid her. There was all sorts of ideas already running through her head for what kind of charm she could make that might help with her dancing. As far as Sadie knew no one else was working on their charm. She wanted to do something that she could use for when she was performing for just the wizarding world.

"I feel very confident that I can do this, Professor Loveless." A small smile was on her face, but was soon hiden when she took a sip from the tea cup given to her. It wasn't too bad actually, could use a bit of honey. "I can't wait to get started."

Miranda gave a smile and stopped leaning against her desk. The Gryffindor was eager but her grades were good. And the notes from the prior professor spoke highly of Sadie. The only downside was that there wasn't a Ravenclaw that she could offer the opportunity too. Members of House Gryffindor were ok in her book, but she had hoped someone in her house would shine through.

"Very good, Ms. Magnas. You're first mission is to write up a lesson plan for a minor charm the students can work on in class. It need not be anything complicated," she said smiling. "Something to show that mastery of the ability comes from a humble start."

She began to collect her things to return to the teachers common room. "Any questions?"

"I understand perfectly Professor Loveless." Sadie beamed, she had to check herself though and dimmed down the brightness in her smile. "Thank you for giving me this opportunity, you will not be sorry." And Sadie had every intention of keeping her word.

It was getting late and Sadie was going to need to make it to the library to work on another class project. She stood up and politely made her goodbyes to the professor. "I do not wish to be rude, but I should be going now. Thank you again for this and you will be seeing me again soon!" Giving her a small bow, Sadie gathered her things and exited the room, looking like a child heading to a carnival.
