Lineage and Blood: Pure-Blood.
Ethnic Background: Black [From England] and quarter Fillipino [Grandmother]
Brief History: Pearl was born on the 3Oth of August in Harrogate District Hospital. Born 6 pounds and 11 ounces. She had heavy golden-brown hair because of her Fillipino Ethnicity. She had bright green eyes that always darkened when she was either angry or hungry. Her skin was the lightest shade of copper but darkened as she got older. Her parents were always so much more proud of her appearance than her intelect or hard-working nature.
Pearl Peridot is not an only-child. She has a younger sister, Nicole who was born a day after her second birthday. She and her sister always had a very close relationship and were intelectually equal. It's not that Pearl was dumber than her sister, it's just that Nicole was motivated by her sister's success. She wanted to be just like Pearl. Pearl and her parents, however, had a different type of relationship. Pearl and her mother's relationship was strained by the fact that Mrs. Peridot, Roseanna, was very vain and only cared about appearance. She was also unbelievably arrogant and, in fact, whenever Pearl attempted to have a conversation with her, Roseanna would boast about Pearl to Pearl. She wasn't the brightest star in the sky. Pearl's relationship with her father, Kram, was quite opposite. He was the father everyone wanted to have; or at least he tried to be. He had his quirky moments too.
When Pearl discovered that the letter to Hogwarts had came, she was very much excited. It was a normal morning at Greentea Manor [Where she and her family live] and when she went downstairs to get a bite to eat, her mother happend to be staring a peice of parchment addressed to her. She had asked what it was and her mother explained that it was the letter from Hogwarts that should have been there four years earlier. Now, at that time, Pearl was already being home-schooled by a wizard with the name of Yerlie Slughorn. He was very strict and exceptionally difficult towards Pearl. She very happy when she finally got the letter because then she could be relieved of him.
Personality: Pearl is very preppy and believes in being perfect. Unfortuanately, in the process of attempted perfection, she has made a lot of misteakes in her short life of 14 years. She has managed to burn down her uncle's barn during her visit in the summer of 'O3, from a potion gone wrong. Practically murdered her nephew on the same visit from a spell gone wrong. She also poisoned her home-school tutor a few times Pearl despises asking for help because she believes that she should be able to do any task that is given to her without assistance.
Pearl is also very bossy. She is very demanding and if what she says isn't done within in the time that was assigned, she gets very angry. This goes with the "being a perfectionist" routine. Everything needes to be in perfect order and organized in order for her to even look at it. This trait makes her difficult to be around.

Weaknesses: Asking for help. Fire. Bugs.
Favorite Hogwarts Class: Potions.
Least Favorite Hogwarts Class: Herbology [She would manage to set the plants on fire.]
Appearance: Pearl has dark brown skin and bright green eyes that get darker when she is either angry or hungry. Her hair is a thick heap of golden brown that tangles when it wants to. Her skin rarely has blemishes but happens to be very oily. She highlites her hair a differnt color every month. This month it's green. Pearl's style isn't preppy at all, although she is a prep. She often wears skinny jeans of neon colors and t-shirts with designer sneakers.
Sample Role play: As Pearl picked up her sister's book off of the perfectley made bed in her room, she began to growl. She always got upset when her sister left her things in her room. When she began to cool down a little bit, she looked out the window to find a beautiful day. That lessened her bad temper.
As she stopmed down the stairs to try to find Nicole, she tripped on her shoelace ond fell over her Hogwarts trunk. She almost forgot about going there. She hadn't even began to pack. As she fogot all about the book in her hand and absent-mindedly plopped it on the nearest end table, she dragged the trunk all the way up to her tower [where her room is] and threw her clothes into it.
"Oh. We have to do to Diagon Alley to go and get a wand, my robes, and other stuff I need for Hogwarts," she said to herself, as she often spoke to herself. She slapped her hand againt her forehead as if she was in a heap of trouble.
