Player Information
Age: 19
How did you find the site? I was searching online with google for a Harry Potter RPG I could join, and this one caught my attention.
Do you have any previous characters? If you mean on this site, then no, not that I’m aware of. But I have played quite a few characters before this in other roleplays.
Character Information
Name: Maximus Thomas Nolan
Age: 11
Sex: Male
Lineage and Blood: Muggleborn
Ethnic Background: He’s part English [on his mother’s side], and he’s also of Irish descent [From his father’s side.]
Brief History: Max Nolan was born to two muggles, Darach and Ada Nolan. Thanks to his father’s position as a museum curator, Max spent most of his childhood travelling around the world. When they weren’t travelling, he spent his time at his home in Yorkshire, being homeschooled by his mother.
Max disliked being homeschooled, and wanted to experience what it was like to be in a real school. However, his parents were against sending him to school, because they worried the other kids would pick on him. It wasn’t until the age of nine that they finally gave into his wishes and sent him to the local public school.
Sadly, Max’s wish didn’t last long, as the parents’ prediction soon came true. Of course, neither of his parents expected what the kids’ teasing would lead to. The boy that picked on him that day started to float in midair, causing the boy to panic, and fell from ten feet in the air, breaking his leg. The principal called them in, and told them to keep their “Demon child” away from the school.
So, Max spent the next two years continuing his education at home. Then, on his eleventh birthday, he received the letter from Hogwarts.
Personality: Max is shy around people he doesn’t know, but very talkative around people he does know. He likes to travel, and is always up for a good adventure. He gets irritable if he stays indoors all the time. He can also be easily angered if provoked.
Strengths: He’s adventurous and usually friendly
Weaknesses: he’s incredibly shy and has a hard time making friends because of it. It also doesn’t take much to anger him. he’s also kind of clumsy.
Favorite Hogwarts Class: Transfiguration
Least Favorite Hogwarts Class: Charms
Appearance: He’s of average height for an 11 year old, and thin He has reddish brown hair, and brown eyes. He has a very awkward way of walking. When not in uniform, he usually wears shirts that have something of his interests on it, (such as characters from movies, comics, etc.), and jeans. He’s also usually unkempt as far as his outfit goes.
Sample Role play: Max walked across the school grounds, staring out at the lake sprawled out in front of him. He takes a seat by a tree, and pulls out his Defense Against the Dark Arts book, turning to chapter one.
“The stunning spell.” He whispered to himself.
He pulled out his wand from his pocket and pointed it toward the lake, as to not accidentally hit someone.
He clears his throat and shouts, “Stopefy!”
Nothing happens. He looks back down at the book to figure out what went wrong, keeping his wand in position.
“Oh, it’s stupefy.” He’s suddenly blasted backwards as a light flies out of the wand.
