I got into charles mingus after I was listening to Miles Davies I got into Jazz in general from living with jazz students who I got along with because they also liked bonobo which I started listening to after cinematric orchestra, which I found in my first.

For some reason, I got to thinking of ranges when Drachir mentioned them. Yma Sumac popped into my head, the only woman I remember to have the widest range of low pitch and high pitch.

Chuncho means forrest sounds/animals (rough translation I found for the word) She grew up by one so the song makes sense. The vid gets out of sync a lot but it's still good.
