View Full Version : The Library is a quiet place

Discretion was never one of Claus's fortés, in any measure. Indeed his loud and obnoxious behaviour often got him into trouble, not that he deliberately meant any harm or offense, on the contrary its often the result of his attempts to befriend and entertain that lead to the perhaps confusion and blame of 'trouble making'. Nonetheless it simply wasn't in his nature[/u] to be passive, to be calm, to be tranquil, [i]to be quiet. Indeed, to conclude Claus doesn't do silence.

Today was no different. Today however he was in the Library; the Library is a quiet place, a place for study and silence. What on earth Claus thought he was doing in such a haven for tranquility I think we'll never know. He was attempting with an incredibly half hearted approach to fine tune his charms skills, however had no real interest in being able to make a rabbit float or whatever it was this book was teaching him. His eyes lazily skimmed over the faded parchment papers, the needlessly exuberant font made his eyes squirm and he rapidly gave up on the theory of the spell he was trying to learn in favour of a practical.

But wait, was he allowed to practice in the library? Any magical practice was strictly forbidden back in Beauxbatons; they liked to keep their elven glassware on display of course not wishing to run the risk of damage to their precious ornaments. He scoffed rather loudly at the thought of the school's pretensions which rewarded him with a burning, beady look from the librarian. Could he use magic in the library? that was the question, god knows he wasn't going to sit about and read a textbook all day. He looked to the student next to him who was furiously scribbling down notes.

"Uh are we allow...." he started but was met before he could finish by a pertinent 'SUSH' from both the student and the librarian who sent him another threatening glance. Oh well... it was worth a try at least. He was sure he'd seen two Hufflepuffs practicing Transfiguration when he'd come in, although it could have been his imagination, he rarely trusted his memory.

Rather tentatively he raised his wand and directed it towards an object before him and gave a lackadaisical swish of his wand hand. What he muttered in accordance to this we will never know, but it was certainly nothing like the spell he was supposed to be reciting.

Almost instantaneously a whole bookcase's worth of aging editions of 'Advanced Transfiguration' and other spellbooks came tumbling down around him. He cringed and time felt as if it had stopped, he sat stunned in such disbelief. The whole library has risen with a jolt and had their eyes aimed at him, wondering what on earth had just gone on.

For once in his life Claus was silent, this didn't last long and he cursed with words so rude they dare not be repeated.

Nicky yawned making his way down the spaces between the shelves, He was pretty exhausted trying to work on his article for the snitch.

Finding a clear table, He sat down and was about to open a book when a shelf made a thundering sound with books cascading to the floor. Walking over and peering around the corner he spotted a lone new student sitting in the middle of the mess.

People were just gawking or laughing, Nicky rolled his eyes and walked over picking up the books. "If all of you are just gonna stand there and not help, Could you at least all turn around so we don't have to look at your ugly faces."

Putting some books away, Nicky turned around and faced Claus. "Hi there, I'm Nicky."

Claus was still rather taken-aback by what had happened and had stumbled to his feet, not exactly sure what to do. He looked at the carnage about his feet and then up to the bewildered onlookers who at this point had started to see the humour in the situation. He grinned slightly, never one to shy away from attention and was about to crack a joke when a Slytherin student came to his side.

"Oh hi Nicky," he replied, glad of the help he needed. Sure he liked the attention but he didn't much fancy slotting a bookcase worth of books back into their places with the whole library. At this point the librarian who'd been shooting him burning looks a few seconds before was now directing her eyes to the mess of books on the floor, a temple on her forehead throbbing and her hand clenched tightly around her wand. He felt it rather important to get tidying now to avoid the wrath of this librarian.

"I'm Claus!" he retorted whilst beginning to manually slot the books back into their shelves. "And I have no idea what happened there."

Nicky looked back to follow Claus's gaze to the librarian, Looking back to the new student he kept slipping books back into place. "That hag always has some sort of problem, She'll burst a vein at some point."

Smiling he looked around at the mess and shrugged. "Nice to meet you Claus...And don't sweat it, I cause a lot more trouble than this on an hourly basis."

Tilting his head, He looked Claus up and down. "When did you arrive at Hogwarts? I don't remember any of the teachers talking about a transfer student this late in the year."

Claus chuckled, Nicky was rather... forefront with his views and clearly had no worries about offending people, it would be nice for Claus to not be the only one leaving a trail of destruction/offended people. Inspired by Nicky's harsh words he stuck his tounge out through his teeth at the librarian before continuing with the menial task of returning the books.

"Oh only a week or so ago, it's been an... interesting year for me." he replied to Nicky as he absent mindedly placed the books back. The library had now lost interest in his plight and now returned to their seats, some even kind enough to use the levitation charm to assist him.

"I'm tailing on the end of this year before jumping in at the deep end." he continued, "and I wouldn't really say I'm an exchange student. It's a long story..."

Putting the last book away, Nicky sat down interested in meeting someone new. "Just a week? And not an exchange student?"

Resting his chin on his palms, Nicky leaned in examining Claus a bit more, He loved a good story, Especially when someone didn't want to talk about it.

"Oh come on, You just crashed a whole book shelf. What's there to be nervous about. Plus its good to talk about long stories and get them off your chest." Nicky looked up at Claus with a pouting look of curiosity.

Finn was a bit geeky when it came to Magical Creatures and Herbology. She loved being outdoors as much as she loved fashion and boys. She checked out another creature book and was making her way to check it out (to avoid getting the reputation as a library nerd or worse, a Ravenclaw) she spotted the mess that occurred and a strange boy standing there in the mess.

"Nicky! You good soul!" She exclaimed as she walked over to him and smirked at the boy in front of her. He was cute too. Not seeing Seth around, she could flirt. She batted her eyes at him and then giggled at her bestie.

"You just know where to find the cute boys." She murmured at him and extended her hand to the German boy.

"And you know how to make a ruckus. I'm Finn, and you're cute. What's your name?"

In truth the story of Claus' eventual arrival wasn't actually that long, he could easily summarize it in a sentence or two however he felt he needed to give it some justice! It was a pretty epic story in its own right, or at least Claus liked to think it was. Telling it in this casual manner was not the way he intended.

"Ah well it's been a long journey from Berlin to here, let me say that." he chuckled as he slotted the last of the books away and turned to face Nicky.
"You know I will tell you but perhaps some other time." he grinned and was about to continue before Finn walked over and introduced herself. He chortled at her comments and in good manners albeit slightly medieval took her hand and kissed it.

"Hallo Finn, you're too kind. I'm Claus, I'm new here."

Finn Caerlaverock

"Oooh, and chivalrous to boot!" Finn exclaimed as if it was a new pet and the talk of the party.

"Claus! How exotic! We have another german student by the name of Franz.." She leaned in with her hand as if to tell him a secret but mocked whispered to him.

"But he's a bit of a drunkard and has an affinity for welsh gypsy women." She winked at him but every comment she made had an ulterior motive. She did not like Morganna Alectrophysis at all.

"You would think Welsh gypsy women are fun but let me tell you, don't trust them as far as you can throw them. Oh, you're in Gryffindor!" Finn exclaimed, noticing his badge for the first time. More people were coming into Gryffindor now, and Finn almost always associated Gryffindor with Kel, Ethlinn's stalker.

"How do you like it? Its a shame you aren't in Slytherin but I guess not everyone can be in the best house." She laughed in jest but she was. dead. serious. about how she felt about the Snake house.

"Oh dear, I am rambling on and on! Nicky, you really need to stop me when I'm talking like this. Berlin, you say? How is that? Were you from Durmstrang?"

Kel Henderson

“Thank Merlin, another Gryffindor.” Kel announced to the group standing next to the shelves that seemed to have caused a stir in the library. Kel had been returning some books that he had been using to finish off some homework. When he heard the noise he went to go find out if he could help, the group seemed to have taken care of it by the time he arrived.

“You know I was beginning to feel so out numbered with all the students in Slytherin.” Pausing for a second Kel recognized the two that were standing with the new Gryffindor. “Nicky I swear, if you ever get to become an animagis it will be something like a blood hound. How you find all the new students I will never know.”

Looking at Finn, “And please tell me that Lucas is not in tow somewhere, it feels like everytime I see you he's creeping around somewhere.” Kel gave her a smile and a wink to suggest trouble.

“Well let me not be rude, where are my manners? I'm Kel Henderson, and what is the name of my fellow house-mate?” Kel extended his hand for a welcoming shake to the new Gryffindor. Kel's smile was beaming with happiness, his disposition couldn't have been better and he wanted to share it with everyone.

"You wish you were in Slytherin, Kel. But its OK, certain people of Slytherin decided that Gryffindor was second best." Finn turned to smile knowingly at him, as if she wanted to blurt out that Kel liked Ethlinn and Ethlinn knew all about it. Thankfully, she broke into a genuine grin and laughed when he told Nicky he was a bloodhound and that Kel didn't want Lucas to be in tow.

"I know. Its like he's a glutton for punishment." Finn stated with the roll of her eyes and then took a step back with glee to introduce the boys.

"His name is Claus! How fabulous is it!" She exclaimed, thinking that Kel would be interested in a name other than Ethlinn.

Claus Von Klein

Claus immediately noticed the chemistry between Finn and Kel, the way they bounced off each other turned the corners of his lips into a smile. In fact they seemed to spur each other so much that Claus barely had time to speak himself before the next sarcastic comment was sprung.

"Yeah it's Claus," he spurted out, unsure really who it was directed at; Finn had already confirmed his name but he didn't want to stand there like a gormless fool, not even able to say his name. He took Kel's hand in a firm grip, he'd grown up accustomed to tight handshakes (it seemed to be the custom in Germany and his father always seemed to have a crushing grip when shaking hands).

"I'm not too accustomed to the school's houses. I attended Beauxbatons for a while and grew up in Germany so I really know very little about the school. I have a lot to learn. Is Gryfindor a good house?".

Nicky Bathurst
28-06-2010, 01:03 PM
To Nicky's delight, Finn managed to tornado into the room with her usual playful energy. "Finny!"

He almost began to clap, Which was a habit he was learning from his friend but caught himself and looked Claus up and down again when Finn had mentioned that he always found the cute boys. "It must be a talent of mine." He joked with her.

Claus had kissed Finns hand, Making the girl more excitable. Which just got Nicky giggling. The girl loved attention, Especially when it was the right kind of attention.

He wouldn't have stopped his friend from rambling no matter how much she asked, It was just to much fun to watch. In walked Kel, Who seemed to be in good spirits hearing about having another gryffindor in the school. "I'm not a bloodhound....I just bump into new people....often....Am not.....shut up."

He began to blush, and tried to hide in his seat. Glad that the topics were changing pace quickly. Talk of Lucas ended quickly, The ravenclaw got into more trouble with people than the little Slytherin did.

Finn mentioned the houses and Claus shook hands with Kel, It was an odd group, One you wouldn't expect to see in the library together. Two Gryffindors and two Slytherins.

"Beauxbatons?" Nicky titled his head not recognizing the name.

Kel Henderson
28-06-2010, 05:05 PM
“Well of course Gryffindor is a good house, I don't mean to brag.” Kel said with a side glance and a smile to the other two standing next to him. “And don't worry about learning too much about the houses, that stuff will be either shoved down your throat by teachers, or other students. Either way you're going to be making opinions of the other students good or bad.” Kel had returned the strong handshake while he spoke. “Beauxbatons, hu? Well you will definitely have a diverse schooling to say the least. So why Hogwarts? If you don't mind my asking.” Kel was sure that the others had wanted to know the same thing if they hadn't all ready asked Claus.

Ethlinn O'Riordan
29-06-2010, 03:07 AM
Ethlinn walked into the library with a hop and a skip in her step and an armful of flyers. Written across them in large black ink were the words. 'Nicky Bathurst is Gay, and likes some guy in Hufflepuff. Watch out Hufflepuffs!'. It was a very childish thing to be doing, but she wasn't the most mature of people after all. She was fed up of finding Nicky and Finn together gossiping about things without her. Plus he'd called her stupid, or at least that was how the scenario had played out in her head. Ethlinn's logic behind it was that this would push Nicky to the bottom of the popularity pile and then Finn wouldn't want to associate with an unpopular loser so it would just be her and Finn then, the queen bees.

Passing them out to all of the students she came across, she turned to go down the next aisle when she saw the very last people she wanted to catch her, Nicky, Finn and Kel! Panicking she turned around quickly before any of them could see her and she hurried out of the Library to resume distributing elsewhere. In her haste a load of flyers from her pile fell out and fluttered down to the library floor.

Claus Von Klein

"Yup," Claus replied to Nicky who'd picked up on his mentioning of Beauxbatons and didn't seem to know of the school and thus Claus felt despite his wishes to surround his history with an heir of intrigue he should just come out with it.

"Well Beauxbatons is a wizarding academy in France, it's a bit like this place only a bit more... er.... flouncy. I was actually expelled a year back but didn't transfer right away but went to live in a little wizarding community in France. Only the French magic authorities don't like them too much and we had to disband, I ended up here in London and the rest is history." Claus explained trying to be as coherent as possible, trying to list out a year's worth of events in a few sentences can be confusing.

"I ended up here as I need to have magic qualifications. I can't really go round casting spells anywhere I want without some sort of education".

Claus noticed a blonde Slytherin in the corner of his eye who seemed startled when she saw the group standing there, she fled and dropped some sheets on the floor. Claus walked over and picked one up, skimmed his eyes over the content and half scoffed half chuckled. He walked back over to the group and handed the flyer to Kel.

"Er I presume this is about you?".

Kel Henderson

Kel's eyes flicked over the words on the flier. Rage was building inside of him. Who had done this? Looking around he didn't see anyone handing them out. Kel was getting red with anger, his fist were clenched, he wanted nothing better then to find this person and teach them a thing or two about respect towards others.

“Nicky I swear when I find this person who put these out, I will make them pay! That is not right! They have no right to print that stuff and throw it around!” Kel was fuming with emotion. He had also been so mad that he didn't control the volume he was using and was shouting to the library.

Looking around the room everyone sitting at the tables was looking at him, and Kel was looking for the culprit. As he looked, the more he figured anyone could have done it. Not just anyone, someone had do know Nicky's secret. Who else could have known about it aside from him? Finn is his chum, but she was here before me and there where no fliers then.

Finn Caerlaverock
29-06-2010, 05:46 PM
Finn stuck out her tongue playfully at Kel's opinion about houses.

"Beauxbatons? How classy!" Finn started to say and then Claus' story came out about how he was expelled and he lived in a commune. Finn's time on the streets gave her some contact with eccentric people, but nothing compared to what Claus experienced.

"Expelled! How dangerous and exciting! You've definitely had an interesting time." Finn nodded politely though found Claus to be weird. What came next Finn didn't have time to prepare for. She leaned over and saw the writing as clear as day. Her throat lodged and her chest tightened as she looked over at Nicky.

"Oh Dear! How strange that someone would hand out a flyer.." She looked at Kel who was outraged by this episode. Finn herself didn't know how to react. It was kind of funny but Finn did a good job not laughing but at the same time, the flyers could be pinned on her because she was the only one that knew Nicky's secret. That and Ethlinn.

Would Ethlinn do this? Did anyone else find out?

Claus Von Klein

Claus wasn't exactly sure how to react in this situation, he'd literally known these guys for a few minutes and suddenly he was faced with Kel who looked like his emotions had been pushed a step too far. He flashed his eyes around the library to see how many more flyers had been dropped, there seemed to be a manageable enough for them to pick them all up. He had a niggling thought that the library would not be the only place they'd find the flyers however.

Still, in an attempt to diffuse the situation he offered his help -
"You know guys I'm sure there's some sort of... explanation for this. There's only a few flyers, we can pick them all up I'm sure!"

Nicky Bathurst

Nicky was a bit speechless for awhile, He was enjoying the little gathering until his world came crashing down. Someone knew his secret, And they were spreading it around.

Snapping out of his daze once Kel started to raise his voice, Nicky held his hands up. "It's alright.....Besides I don't think whoever made these fliers would stick around to get caught."

Nicky looked back to Claus, Who must have been uncomfortable just being caught in a situation like this after just meeting some people.

"It was nice meeting you, But I think I better get going. There's someone in hufflepuff that I don't wanna get caught up in this. I leave you in good company though."

He stood up from his seat and gave Claus and Kel a small smile, Turning around he gave Finn a look that said he would talk to her later. Right now he had to clear up anything that might lead up to him liking Dante.

Nicky stepped on a flyer on his way out of the library, A few students were already snickering. He didn't have time to deal with them now, But people were in for a hell on earth if they expected him to be treated badly.

Finn Caerlaverock

Now Finn felt bad. It was this pain in her chest that she never felt before. Was that.. that guilt? Did she feel guilty over what just happened? She watched as Nicky exited the library with his head held high and Finn bit her lip as she looked back at Claus and Kel.

"This is terrible." Finn said softly and wrung her hands together, obviously awkward at the situation that was before her. She hoped that Nicky didn't blame her for what happened and the fight that would occur. She only told one person about Nicky's sexuality and who he possibly liked: Ethlinn. Bending over, she picked up the flyers. She couldn't tell the handwriting but she denied that Ethlinn had anything to do with it. Someone could have clearly made assumptions with the way Nicky and Dante behaved with each other. Maybe Nicky was overly flirtatious with other Hufflepuffs? Damian seemed to be wavering on the straight line... Finn denied and made excuses in her mind about it not being her fault for divulging his secrets to Ethlinn.

"Whoever did this, is going to pay." Finn's denial turned to anger as she looked back at the two boys. "No one, and I mean, no one makes a laughingstock out of a Slytherin, especially one of my best friend and gets away with it." After putting her animal book on the desk, she hurriedly began to pick them up, glaring at the giggles of the Library attendees.

Claus could feel his insides twist slightly and his body was tense and rigid, although he didn't even know the poor boy it was an awfully awkward situation to be in the middle of and clearly his attempts to make light of the situation had failed, unsurprisingly. He shifted awkwardly unsure whether to run after the poor boy and offer some comfort or to stay and help Finn pick up the flyers. He chose the latter option although cast a sympathetic look towards the door Nicky had walked out of.

He crouched down and filed some of the sheets into his hand, pondering how this would be a much simpler job if he knew a spell to do the job for him, alas the perils of not listening in class.

"Err so I presume this is news he didn't want spread round the school?" Claus asked sympathetically and totally unaware of the boy's past and status in the school. In truth Claus had no idea what he was saying but felt he should at least vocalize something so he didn't seem like such a gormless, unhelpful fool.

Trall Sho'chira

Trall had been sitting at a desk scrawling over a translated text for her; she had very keen hearing and listened into the conversation that was going on. She recognised that there were unfamillier voices, new students, fresh meat. The secound conscious within Tralls head agreed to the notion of makeing effort for new aquitances, her research reguarding her orb had come to explain that Lucas was likely to become a reliabillity. It pointed out how Lucas was likely to betray her, through an act of revenge ensited by love.

She slammed the book closed, stood up and fumbled along the shelves to find the books original location, she replaced it and walked towards the voices. Her arms outstreched she clasped at the origin of a male voice, feeling up his back for an arm, she hooked her arm in and her grey eyes blankly turned to the owner.

"Sorry I appear to have lost my way, you sound as if your a nice boy, please tell me your name."

Her voice was of a cheery disposition, with a hint of exitment and embaressment, with undertones of madness. It was Lucy but there was only one student who knew who Lucy was, but most of the older students knew what she was capable of.

Kel moved over to where the pile of fliers had been dumped. Kel started grabbing as many as possible, even the one's out of other student's hands. He was angry and decided that Claus' suggestion was a good start. Kel watched as Nicky marched out of the library, he didn't know where he was going and he wasn't about to stop him.

Kel was moving his way towards where Finn was picking up, as he got closer he noticed, TRALL? Had she been sitting there the whole time? She walked over to Claus and latched on? Kel thought nothing of her grabbing on to him, he guessed it was because of her blindness. What ever the case Kel when back to picking up fliers or ripping them out of the hands of other students and giving them a hard look.

Lucas Montgomery

Lucas had begun to nod off at his desk in the library. There were so many tests to study for, he couldn't keep up. His mind had been working overtime thinking about everything that had been happening as of late. He feared another break-down if he didn't try and take things easy. The absence of a certain blind house-mate was helping but he knew that wouldn't last long. At some point he'd have to confront her.

As he was about to nod off, the sound of a book slamming awoke him. Looking around he didn't see anyone next to him, but he did hear a few voices. He recognized one immediately as Finn. For a girl who wanted to be Ms. Popular, she sure hung out in the one place that wouldn't help that reputation. Deciding it best to avoid a fight, Lucas packed up his books and headed back to the Ravenclaw Tower. He wanted to avoid Finn for a while.

As he began to walk past a few aisles of books he heard a familiar voice that sent a chill down his spine. It couldn't have been....but sadly it was. Lucas peered around the corner and spotted Trall talking to a student he didn't know and had her arm looped into his. Trall would never do that unless it was Lucas himself.

"Lucy..." he whispered to himself.

He needed to get out of the library before something would happen. Lucy's demeanor had an odd effect on Lucas and he didn't want to get drawn into her siren-esque nature.

Trall Sho'chira
07-07-2010, 11:35 PM
Lucy's hearing was just as good as Tralls, they could both make out a pin drop in a rain storm, they heard Lucas's voice from the shadows. Trall recoiled, what had she done, she should have made sure he wasn't hear before letting Lucy out to play.

Lucy on the other hand, grasped at an oppotunity of chaos, but more importantly making Trall squirm. She spoke to the group in the same manner and kicked with exitment when she spoke.

"Oh Lucas is here".

She then called out in a playfull manner to him; Lucy had become even more devious and more capable of the exact opposite of Trall. Trall had warned him several times and she knew that he knew he would be better off keeping away.

"Oh Lucas It's okay, you can come out now, come on meet the nice people."

Lucas Montgomery
08-07-2010, 05:03 PM
Lucas froze in place. He didn't expect Trall...or Lucy..or who ever was in that girl's head to address him. Her hearing had to be beyond belief. Walking away would be pointless. She more or less pointed him out to everyone there. And those students there weren't all people he wanted to speak to. Seeing Finn & Ethlinn there were a clear sign of backing away.

However, Lucas moved a bit closer to keep it from being awkward one way or the other. He didn't know how to address the girl. Should he call her Lucy or Trall at this point. He kept it neutral. "Hello...I'm familiar with most of the people," he said looking back for an escape.

"I was curious as to the commotion before I went back to the Ravenclaw Tower. Do you need help getting back?" Lucas asked hoping to pull the blind girl out of this powder-keg.

Finn Caerlaverock

"Nicky wanted a choice whether people knew about his sexuality." Finn spat as she got into the face of one 5th year boy. The boy was terrified of the Slytherin and backed down, giving her the flyer. Finn wasn't intimidated easily, especially when she was this upset. As she got the last flyer floating around in the library, she turned back to Claus and found this gross blind Ravenclaw student there. She scoffed and saw Lucas coming towards the pair as well.

"Lucas." Finn addressed him, holding up the flyer in her hands to him, the words on the paper read clearly what the message said.

"I found these. Do you know anything about this?" She asked, true anger in her voice. Where as other times they verbally sparred, Finn wasn't so serious, but now it would look like she would rip out someone's throat if she had too. She felt vulnerable, guilty and ashamed of what happened. Finn feeling those emotions was incredibly dangerous and it showed it in her body language.

"Because this is a low blow. Nicky's sexuality is his business and I know that you Ravenclaws have a personal vendetta against us." She looked over at Trall again and her face twisted into one of disgust. Seriously, did that girl ever brush her hair? It wasn't that hard even if she was blind.

"If you didn't do this, I expect you to find out who did this. Because if I don't find out, I'm going to assume you did this." Finn spat with venom at him, her face unsmiling and not joking. She felt so guilty for what had happened that she need to find a culprit immediately. Any thoughts about any of her own housemates doing this was pushed in the back of her mind.

"And if you think we had a bitter rivalry before, you haven't seen anything yet." Her voice dropped, completely forgetting Claus was standing there as a confused new student.

"If you do find out who did this, then well, I guess I shall spare you.. for a bit. I can be merciful you know."

Kel Henderson
08-07-2010, 08:18 PM
Taking the fliers that he was able to grab a hold of, Kel stuffed them in his pocket. I'll burn these when I get up to the tower, and any others I find floating around. Kel told himself as he looked at Finn with determination and approval of the work they had been doing. Before he could ask her who she thought might be the culprit of this attack, she had made a bee line for Lucas. “Round three,” Kel said as he followed her over to where she was practically fuming with rage at the Ravenclaw.

“...I know that you Ravenclaws have a personal vendetta against us. If you didn't do this, I expect you to find out who did this. Because if I don't find out, I'm going to assume you did this."

From what Kel had seen of Lucas, he didn't seem to have any feuding with Nicky just the one and only Finn. “Lucas, Finn is very angry about the situation as am I. But I doubt that you would do something of this caliber. Yes you and I have had our disagreements but Finn is right about one thing, if you know who did this we would like to know so as to handle this as quickly as possible.” Kel wasn't apologizing for Finn's actions, he was sure that her anger was getting the better of her and she was finding the easiest target to vent her frustrations.

“If you don't know then please keep an eye out for who could have done this.” Kel looked over at Finn with confusion and disapproval of her last statement of their rivalry and the direction of where it would go if Lucas didn't help. A mental image of Finn running Lucas down with a sword was all Kel kept seeing. “Sorry Claus for getting you wrapped up in all this.”

Finn Caerlaverock
08-07-2010, 08:35 PM
Finn looked over at Kel and narrowed her eyes, ready to strike again as he stepped in. However, he didn't apologize for her actions, just did damage control.

She exhaled slowly and deeply, trying to calm herself down. She didn't also want to be blamed for driving Kel away from Ethlinn and tried to keep her emotions under control. She looked at Kel with a forced small smile.

"You're right. I'm sure everyone is very angry about this." She looked back at Lucas. "Please tell me, or Kel if you prefer, if you hear anything about who could have done this. Nicky was incredibly upset." She forced out, almost wanting to go primal and tear Lucas apart limb by limb.

She looked back at Claus and her face tried to shift emotions to avoid Claus hating her too. She didn't like it when people didn't like her, exception for those snobbish Ravenclaws.

"I'm sorry Claus. As you can see, I'm very upset over what happened. Nicky is my best friend and I want to do all I can, and interrogate every person in finding out who did this." She pushed back her hair and though keeping one flyer to herself to show those who did this terrible thing, she started to rip apart all of the flyers.

She handed some to Lucas, as if he was her pet. "Help me." She forced out again, trying to remedy the situation but failing miserably. She continued to rip them apart and tossing them into the trashcan.

Claus Von Klein

((OOC: Retcon/Ignore what happened in this post before :P))

A hand gripped onto the arm of Claus, fingers wrapping around his bicep. It gave him quite a start and instantaneously he spun his head to see this mysterious student who was latching on to me. Judging by the milky white of her eyes Claus presumed she was blind. He was perfectly content with her holding his arm, it had just given him a bit of a shock to find a student he'd never even met before to hold on to him.

"Sorry I appear to have lost my way, you sound as if your a nice boy, please tell me your name."

Encouraged by her cheerful voice and eager to gain as many acquaintances in the school as he could Claus replied:
"It's Claus Von Klein, Gryfindor house" he replied and instinctively gestured to his house badge, although of course this was pointless. Ashamedly he quickly dropped the gesturing hand hoping not to cause offence, although again she wouldn't have seen in the first place.

"And you are Trall yes?" he asked to stop the situation getting any weirder, he hadn't actually heard of this girl before but gathered her name by the reactions of his fellow students. It was a bit of a giveaway but he thought it polite to confirm with the girl herself. Anyway it gave room for conversation and introductions, how could Claus say no to that?

Finn's body language was tense and her countenance was venomous, Claus even felt a bit fearful as she fumed her rage at the new Ravenclaw that had turned up. Had he heard them call him Lucas? Claus was too occupied with watching the situation occur to have paid full attention. He glanced over to the Ravenclaw student who seemed to be receiving the bunt of Finn's rage and gave a sympathetic grimace. Finn then turned to explain herself to Claus; her tone softening to which Claus was quite grateful.

"Oh no of course I understand, naturally you want to defend your friend. All I can really do is guarantee you it wasn't be, but I'd hope you know that already".

Trall dipped her knees and released Claus, but kep one hand loosely upon his arm; The other took Lucas's his hand in hers and stroked it affectionatly.

"In a minute sweetie, once weve done here."

Lucy wanted chaos and she wass going to get it one way or another sooner or later; she decided that the easiest way was to pick up on house politics.

"Hmmmmmmmmm yes I'm Trall. I'm a Ravenclaw of course, but excuse me for making an assumption isn't Nicky a Slytherin. One of those power hungry idiots that are to stupid to be able to understand the power that they seek."

She was of course completly unaware of Finn being a Slytherin, and spoke to excite conflict between the houses.

This had now become Lucas' worst nightmare. He now had to deal with Finn who was berating everyone and everything in her path because of a rumor being spread around the school. To add to this, Trall, or Lucy, was now trying to cause chaos between the two houses. And her affectionate grip on Lucas' hand didn't help either.

Out of reflex, Lucas did the same to Trall's hand and stroked it back affectionately. He didn't want to, but Lucy's sway was heavy on him. He had become somewhat submissive again and Finn's barking of orders made it worse. He began to shred the papers aswell. He hated this. He hated having little to no will power in Trall's presence.

"Finn...this is the first I've heard about Nicky. He's a good kid and I have no problem with him," Lucas said diplomatically. "The only thing he's done to cause some concern was to sneak into the Ravenclaw Common Room one night."

After saying that, Lucas realized he had just given Trall more ammunition to start an inter-house war. It was too late though. He looked back into the empty grey eyes of Trall and fell silent. His hand was clasped in hers and all the positive energy he once had was starting to fade.

If Finn was alone with Lucas and not with Claus and Kel, she would have pushed Trall down the steps and set a wretched animal on Lucas. However, she had a reputation to maintain and she didn't want everyone to know her truly evil side.

"Wow, Trall. How enlightening." She said dryly, looking at Trall like a cat who finally cornered a mouse. She turned to Lucas who said Nicky was a nice guy. "Yes, Nicky is a very nice person and this is an injustice to him." She showed the flyer again to him.

She looked at Lucas and Trall holding hands and laughed sarcastically. "Oh this is priceless. You and Trall? Together? Oh chocolate frogs, this is great." She laughed again and clutched onto Kel's arm for support. Whatever Trall was trying to say about different houses was lost as Finn got a lot more ammunition for future bullying. Heck, this was perfect. She looked at Kel and Claus with a smile on her face, but was smiling for different reasons.

Looking down at his hand in Trall's, he should have realized Finn was going to notice. And now she was going to use this against him somehow. He tried to find the right words to say, but he feared that what ever words used, Finn would twist.

"This isn't what you think, Finn. And I would just back off right now, Lucas said putting himself in front of Trall. He knew both girls were dangerous, but Trall would destroy Finn with a mere flick of her...wand? Wait, Trall didn't have her wand on her. Lucas had taken it from her sometime ago and hidden it. She was nothing with out her weapon...at least magically.

"We'll go find out who said these things about Nicky. Just leave us alone," Lucas said turning back to look at Trall. He wasn't sure what possessed him, but he raised a hand and caressed the blind girl's cheek. "Let's get out of her, Trall. We're not having a battle of wits with an unarmed person."

While some found Trall to be unattractive, Lucas knew that was not entirely the case. It was magnified with Lucy's personality prominent. If only this tender side was present in Trall all the time, she could be tolerable to most of the students.

Kel Henderson

Kel was angry at this point. Finn had goaded Lucas and he was able to help smooth things out, but now Trall was making unsubstantiated claims about his friend. “Really? Trall, really? Lets try a little thing I like to call maturity. Just because one person from a group is one way doesn't mean everyone who is associated with them is the same.” Kel had quite enough, he had reached his breaking point.

Kel's anger about the fliers had been lessening after Lucas had agreed to help. But now after what Lucas said about Nicky, and then baulking on not defending him from Trall's comment further, it sent Kel into a tizzy.

Kel stood there stoically, clenching his jaw and glaring at Trall as Finn leaned into him laughing. He also didn't understand why Finn was smiling at the pair. Kel was also slightly shocked at how Lucas was acting with his housemate. In his mind Lucas had gained some ground about how he and Finn had been fighting, but now seeing who he sided with he had lost all he had gained.

Now Kel's anger was directed at the couple in front of him. Trall for her statement about Nicky, and Lucas for not standing up for Nicky after what his housemate had said. “Fine go bugger off. And do take your girlfriend with you.”

Trall stopped and put her hand on his shoulder, she swivled on the spot and walked straight towards Kel, her nose was millimeters from his. Her cold dead grey eyes stared straight into his. She spoke calmly, without any emotion.

She grabbed his testicles and squeezed hard.

"I hope that now I have your attention, you may actually listen. To someone who knows."

She then flicked a knife from her pocket and raised it aside her face slowly turning it, then lowered it between his legs.

"Lucas base's his decisions on his foresight, a incredably rare gift, of such magnitude demands respect. Slytherins are power hungry if you would care to read Hogwarts A history you will find hundreds of examples of such individuals. It is there skill of being able to take advantage of others ans contiually seek to benefit themselves that sorts them into the house; therefore fair to say they are of a power hungry nature. It should also be noted that they have never really achieved any power due to the combined efforts of other houses. So again it is fair to say that they do not understand the power they seek as they would already have it by now. Your freind may seem up front to be an accomplise but I assure you they are always out for themselves, often enough they don't even realise it. You should really do some reading every now and then."

She cut the inside of his leg narrowly missing his testicles and stood blankly staring into the space in front of him.

Trall had done something that he had not anticipated and the pain was excruciating. He couldn't hear her words that she said to him, the blood was pounding in he ears. He didn't even see her as a girl any more, he couldn't even see her at the moment. Blind rage had him and had him good. Her lips were moving but heard nothing but his own mind saying Cause her pain!

While Trall had pulled a knife out and placed it very close to the main arteries in his leg, Kel was pulling out his wand. Sweat was beading up on his face, his expression was pure and unadulterated hatred for this person. He couldn't feel the cut of the knife bite into his skin, he was too focused on retaliating. When she released him, Kel spoke very quietly almost a whisper. “Don't start something you can't finish.”

As soon as the words had passed his lips Kel flew into action. First he stomp-kicked heavily onto one of Trall's kneecaps to drop her. Then he flipped his wand out and slammed a stunning spell into her with no less than a few inches in between the wand tip and the girl.

This was all too much, what had he done? This is not what Kel was use to, yes he had been beaten up before, and yes they were always guys. But Trall had done the one thing that seemed impossible, she had ripped away his dignity and was nothing more than a rabid animal in Kel's eyes. Thankfully there were other there, others that would stop this madness. If he had been alone with Trall he would have kept beating her body. It didn't matter that she was blind, she proved that she was more than willing to start a fight but apparently Kel was ready to end her for it.

Lucas stood there horrified at what had just transpired. He thought for a brief moment, he had Lucy's personality under control. However, she proved to be as dangerous as Trall had told him. Like a vicious dragon, Lucy had attacked Kel and with a mere muggle weapon no less. Thankfully, Kel seemed relatively unhurt but his anger was shown by retaliating.

Once Trall had fallen to the floor, Lucas moved in between Kel & the blind girl. He didn't know what would happen next, but certainly any sort of violence was going to come to a halt.

"Kel! Easy!" he shouted to the Gryffindor. The boy's rage was justified, but they were in the library and a teacher could not be far off. Lucas moved towards the knife Trall had and kicked it under a table across the room.

"She's unarmed now, I swear! I have her wand hidden somewhere!" Lucas said to make sure Kel, Finn, or Claus did anything. "I knew she could be unpredictable, so I took her wand away. But I never thought she'd do anything like this," Lucas said looking down at the girl.

Lucas looked to everyone standing there and felt slightly helpless. One of his own house tried to attack a student and do worse than a curse or a hex. This was downright barbaric...and the Headmistress would have to know. He'd have to turn the girl in.

Trall and Lucy lay flat on the floor argueing inside her head.

The argument was a little odd in that both agreed that it was the right thing to do and at the same time, both of them agreed that it should have been done more suttlerly; but the lack of suttley was neccasary. Trall and Lucy decided that the other had been very stupid, surely creeping into the dorms at night stunning Kel, setting his bed on fire and then performing a memory charm on herself would have done the trick.

What was abundantly clear was that she had increased the possibillity of being thrown from the school, which wouldn't have been particulary important before she had obtained the Orb. She would have to figure it out soon and do whatever she was supposed to do with it soon, before the found out about Lucy.

((Wha...? O.O))

What happened next was so unexpected that even Finn couldn't spring into action right away. Kel was defending her, the charming boy, and then Trall grabbed the boy by the family jewels! Finn's eyes widened as the knife was pulled and Kel managed to defend himself before Finn could reach to get out her wand.

She pulled out her wand and pointed it to the girl. Oh yes, Finn had Trall marked in her memory and was going to make her life a living hell. Or well, as much as Finn could ever do to someone that didn't care about such things as being picked on and bullied. She looked at Kel.

"Are you OK?" She asked him, worried for the boy. She looked down at his leg and gasped loudly. "Oh no, Kel! You have to go to the nurse's suite. You've been cut!" She looked at Trall and looked at Lucas.

"You need to keep your crazy girlfriend under control. Keep her away from the rest of us, better yet, the entire school." She shook her head, looking down at the blind girl with disgust. She looked over at Claus, the poor guy.

"I promise we aren't going to hang out with these freaks anymore." She looked at Lucas with distain. She wasn't trying to hide her dislike anymore, considering she felt that Kel was truly on her side.

Crazy girlfriend? Oh how wrong Finn was. Never in his lifetime would he call this thing lying on the floor a girlfriend. Lucas cared enough for Trall as a friend, but this chaotic mentality could never allow him to be with her. Sure they had shared a kiss, but there powerful circumstances at work. Plus the Lucy personality was something of a temptress. She gave Trall an allure that was hard to ignore.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Lucas yelled back at the Slytherin. "After this, I don't know what she is!"

He leaned down and attempted to prop Trall against one of the book cases. He checked to make sure she was still breathing and then looked up at others. Kel did a number on her and he was impressed. Lucas never had the stones to throw a spell at the girl when she deserved it. Seeing what she had done to the Gryffindor, Lucas couldn't argue.

"Just get Kel to the nurse. I'll...I'll do something..." Lucas said kneeling on the floor looking dumb founded.

Professor Miranda Loveless

"What exactly will you do, Mr. Montgomery?" barked a voice from behind the group.

Miranda had heard quite the exchange in the library and decided that it was coming to an end. Why she thought the library would be preferable to her own classroom for test preparation was beyond her. However, it turned out to be somewhat fortunate that she was there. She stumbled on what looked like to be a physical fight between some students. Upon further inspection of the scene, a student was bleeding and another lay unconscious on the floor.

"Great Odin's Raven! What is all this?" she shouted looking at the scene.

The knife lay on the ground away from the two Gryffindors & two Slytherins. It was closer to the two Ravenclaws and this 'caused her to feel even more angry. It appeared her own house was responsible for this attack. She drew her wand and pointed it at Kel. "Don't move, Henderson. I will stop the bleeding," she said stoically. And with a swift motion of her arm, a small spell shot forth along with a roll of medical gauze. It wrapped itself around Kel's leg and applied a light amount of pressure.

"You'll want to see the nurse right away," she said inspecting her handy work. "One of you escort him to the nurse. I'll catch up once I'm finished talking to the rest of you."

She turned around in Lucas & Trall's direction. "Mr. Montgomery...you are the last student I expected to find in a fight...with a muggle weapon of all things," she said picking up the knife with a handkerchief. "I do hope there is a very good explanation for all of this. This may not result in just a loss of house points."

She said the last part looking at both sides of the matter. "Someone talk. Now!"

Kel was still fuming when Lucas kicked the knife away. He still wanted to give Trall back tenfold what she gave him. “I'm not gonna be calm until that witch is put down!” he growled with rage in his eyes as he pointed at the collapsed figure that was Trall.

It took a few seconds for Finn's comments to register; the world around him had gone almost blank. Looking down, he noticed for the first time that he was bleeding. He had felt the cut, but the sight of blood startled him. Looking back at Finn, he nodded. “Yeah, I might need your help.” He was normally too stubborn to get assistance in general, but this was different.

He was about to lean on Finn for support when Professor Loveless showed up. He was taken by surprise by her appearance, and when she took out her wand he balked. He wasn't thinking that she was going to patch him up, he fully expected her to hex him. As he was turning to go to the nurse as she instructed, he heard her comments to Lucas, assuming that he had done the fighting and not Trall. Spinning around, Kel raged back as a toddler would if someone was stealing his favorite toy. He pointed frantically at Trall. “Lucas nothing!” he bellowed. “SHE GRABBED MY MANHOOD!”

“And to top it all off,” Kel continued, “she stabbed me! But I'm more concerned about my manhood at this point!” It wouldn't have mattered to Kel if Lucas was the most evil, most devious person in the entire world: he wasn't going to let anyone but Trall take the blame for this. He also wasn't going to mention to Professor Loveless that he had used his wand on Trall in response. He wasn't going to lie, he just wasn't going to give that information unless he had to.

Finn Caerlaverock
15-07-2010, 05:29 PM
Finn put on her most innocent face and her dark eyes went round with bewilderment. She looked at Loveless who patched Kel up, but it was clear that he would still need to go to the nurse.

However, Kel interrupted Loveless by shouting out the basis of what happened in simpleton terms. Finn put her hand on his shoulder to sympathize with Kel and looked at Loveless.

"Trall is the instigator. We were all distraught about this rumor that's being spread around about Nicky Bathurt, and we were all fighting about who could have done it. Trall said something very mean about Slytherins, and Kel told Trall to be mature and not to be stereotypical but Trall decided to get revenge on Kel in the most awful way possible." Finn rambled on, trying to keep her out of it and to show Kel in the most flattering light. She nodded fervently at Loveless and looked at Kel.

"Lets go to the nurse. Your leg doesn't look so good." Finn's lip quivered as she acted out her worry over Kel. Granted she was a little bit worried but since there was a teacher there, she was overdoing it.

Lucas Montgomery
16-07-2010, 02:46 AM
Lucas was horrified that Professor Loveless would think he was capable of doing that kind of harm to someone. He was sure that his name had come up a couple of times with all of the fist fights he and Thom Seivert had. With Loveless being the head of Ravenclaw, he expected someone as thorough as her to do her research on every student in it. Surely she didn't think he could do something as dangerous as this?

His fears were alleviated when Kel spoke up and rightfully pointed the finger at Trall. Not only that, but Finn also confirmed it as well. He was very surprised that neither of them brought his name up in the matter. Lucas was sure that Finn would jump at the chance to see him suffer. However, she was more focused on looking like the victim in all of this, despite Kel being the one who was physically hurt.

"It's true, Professor Loveless," Lucas said standing up. "It was Trall who attacked Kel. I've never seen her do anything like this before. She's been subdued and I'm going to take her to the nurse for observation...once Kel is done of course."

Lucas kept eye contact with the Charms Mistress. His interactions with Loveless were limited but he knew one thing about the woman...she was rarely wrong and a stickler for the rules. In this manner, Lucas found her to be a breath of fresh air in the school. In fact, if he was a bit older, he would have attempted to get to know her better. School boy fantasies aside, Lucas waited for the professor's reaction.

Trall Sho'chira
16-07-2010, 01:45 PM
Trall was beggiing to calm down in her head now and began to think more clearly, she realised what she had done was something very sudden and even she didn't see it coming. She was used to these sort of actions, having set the library on fire, boiled fish, atempted to kill people, but they were generally suttle things. She realised that this attack was more of psychological attack; It's not as if she had tried to shred him to pieces with her favourate spll, but then again she didn't have her wand.

She heard Lucas comment

"I've never seen her do anything like this before. She's been subdued and I'm going to take her to the nurse for observation...once Kel is done of course."

She realised that he thought Lucy had got the better of her; Trall realised what was going on, she hadn't been subdued they had both made the attack at the same time. It also seemed Lucas seemed to want to tend to her, as if he was worried about her, as if he actually wanted to see her well.

It didn't make sense, before she had manipulated Lucas to help her, she could not comprehend someone caring for her, concepts such as frendship and companionship. The only logical explaination was mutual respect and alliances to meet common goals; before she had manipulated Lucas. It was apparent that he was helping her out of his own free will this time, but why?

Her thoughts were blindingly logical and had come to the following conclusion;

It must have something to with the Orb, Lucas had a connection with the Orb aswel, in equal measure as her own; but it must be a deeper form of connection. One that niether of them had previously been aware of.

Professor Miranda Loveless

Miranda looked at Kel and Finn very hard. She was not surprised that one of her own had something to do with this. Though it would seem she owed Lucas an apology...even though she wasn't going to dispense one. Taking a moment to put her wand away, she looked down at the blind girl on the floor. If she was indeed the cause, this would require her to speak with the Head Mistress. Fights were a common thing at the school, but they were usually in the form of jinxes and hexes. Out right physical attacks were a different thing.

"Take Henderson to the nurse now, Caerlaverock. And dispense with the tears unless you too have a knife wound on your body," she said with little concern. The girl was far too prissy for her liking and an incident like this would toughen her up.

"Montgomery," she said turning on her heels. "You will help me take Ms. Sho`Chira to the adjoining medical facility. "I want these two kept separate."

He didn't need any more of an invitation to leave than a teacher telling him to. Kel turned back around after his rant and hobble-walked towards Finn. It would be an understatement to say that he was relieved to be getting away from that lunatic of a girl. As he moved for Finn's shoulder for support, “Come on, let's go. I don't want to be near that psycho any longer than I have to.”

Kel felt that justice would prevail and that Trall would be thrown out on her ear for her actions. A small bit of relief flowed through him and he made his way towards the exit and up to the infirmary. A small smile was spreading across his lips, but for an entirely different reason.

Trall's encounter had changed something in Kel, his subconscious was reliving the time he spent running in the woods, and the horrors he saw. Kel didn't know that he was smiling, he wasn't even aware of the change. The psyche does different and strange things to cope with any trauma that a person would suffer.

Kel's mind was starting on something, but from where it was seeking its comfort was not a very good place. Kel walked as quickly as possible for him up to see the nurse and get his leg healed. But for some reason he could only think of revenge against the one who had caused him so much pain.

Lucas Montgomery

Lucas looked at Professor Loveless with fear but pushed it aside so that he could nod his head in agreement. He was not going to do anything to upset the head of his house any further, despite the fact he had done nothing. He reached into his robe and drew his wand to help levitate Trall off the ground. Carrying her would be a bit much for both of them.

Looking back at the others in the hall, Lucas wished he could do something to show that he wasn't at all like the blind girl on the floor. However, Finn's popularity and social prowess withing the school was growing. Soon she would be a force to be reckoned with and incidents like this would only solidify her position.

Lucas leaned down and helped Trall over onto her back. "I wish I knew what to do with you, Trall," he muttered waiting for Loveless to assist.

Professor Miranda Loveless
21-07-2010, 02:10 AM
Loveless looked down and raised her wand along with Lucas'. She called forth a a levitation spell that would allow Trall to hover and be guided down the hall as if she were a cart being pushed. Trall's body lifted off the ground gently and hovered just in front of Lucas. Miranda placed Trall's arms across her chest gently.

"Follow me, Montgomery," she said curtly. "We will take her another route."

Miranda began to guide Trall's unconscious body down the halls, taking a few moments to look at Lucas who walked along side. She was thankful that she was wrong about the boy. She had heard he was a hard worker and being considered for Head Boy. Something like this would have surely seen him booted from the school.

"Montgomery, I would suggest the three of us have a sit down talk once this is said and done. I might also suggest that the House Prefect sit in as well," she spoke in a kind tone. "I'm protective of my House. So protective, I would be willing to strip points from it without hesitation."

Rounding a corner, she took a deep breath and continued. "There hasn't been a Ravenclaw who I thought wasn't worthy of being in this house. You are in the right place. Your mother would be proud."

Miranda didn't know if it was a wise idea to mention the boy's mother, but she had known Fiona during her last year at Hogwarts. Miranda was a first year and Fiona showed the bookworm some kindness. However, the rest of her time at the school would be her's to endure.

"I know you have questions. I can see the look in your face. They will have to wait until we deal with this matter."

Finn Caerlaverock

Finn took ahold of Kel as they made their way to the infirmary. This undoubtedly brought Kel over to the Slytherin side of things and though Finn didn't want to see Ethie's new beau hurt, it was made sure that the boy would do their bidding in the future. Finn's petty and egocentric nature completely missed the point that Kel was going to act on his own anyway.

"How awful. Wait until I tell.." Finn didn't want Kel to know just yet that Ethlinn knew that Kel liked her, so she searched for something different. "Nicky what happened. He'll be so shocked and angry." Finn nodded to Kel as they turned the corner to the Nurse's suite. The rest of the Slytherins would be just as angry, if Finn had anything to do with it. She clutched her friend's shoulder: Kel should be honored that she just considered him a friend, and made their way towards the nurse's suite.

Kel Henderson
21-07-2010, 06:04 PM
Kel was relatively stoic as they reached the infirmary. All those stairs, with a hurt leg was dreadful. All he wanted to do right now was to go and lay down in his bed and read a book. As they reached the doors Kel kicked them open to enter the room. “Nurse Starr, are you in?” Kel couldn't see her presently, he was sure she was around somewhere.

Hobbling over to a bed with Finn's help he took a seat. Looking up at her, Kel thanked her. “Thanks for your help. I don't want to keep you, I'm sure the Nurse will put me right as rain.” He was glad she helped him up all those stairs, it would have taken him twice as long alone. But Kel had an ulterior motive, if he had to get stitches he didn't want Finn to hear him screaming in pain. There was nothing manly about screaming like a little girl in front of, well a girl. It didn't occur to him that she could simply heal it with the flick of her wand.
