Sex: Female
Lineage & Blood: Half Blood (Father is a pure blood, Mother is muggle)
Ethnic Background: English
Brief History: Miley’s parents were separated since she could remember. Miley and her mom moved to the UK but she wanted to stay in England with her dad. Both her parents thought that living with her mom would be better until she was older. Ever since she was born she was more fascinated in fairies, dragons, and things dealing with magic. Her mom tried to get her dolls and tea sets to be like the rest of the girls but Miley would always push them aside. Those kinds of toys would bore her and she would only play with them for 5 minutes or so. During the summers, Miley would lay out in her backyard staring at the stars thinking she was different; that there was more to her than she knew about. She would get these strange urges but would brush them away. There were times where she would find herself muttering strange things and something would happen. She was a little scared about this, and swore to herself that she would never tell her mother.
It wasn’t until the summer of her 15th birthday when everything got turned upside down. She received a package from England but it never stated from whom. She opened the package up like it was Christmas. The packaged contained a diary, a book, and a letter. Just like any teenage girl, she didn’t care for what the letter had to say. She looked through the diary; nothing written in the book. She looked through the book and had no idea what it was talking about. As she flipped through the book something caught her eye. She stared and stared at the page like something was going to jump out at touch her. She finally stopped looking at the page and realized that she had a letter that she needed to read. She opened up the letter and by her surprise, it was from her father.
“My dearest daughter,
It is your 15th birthday and I believe you are now old enough to know the truth. You come from a very special family. Because of this, this fall you will be attending a different school. I know you will miss your friends, but trust me. I have arranged for you to be picked up from your home to take you to your new school. Clothes have been already sent to your Mother, so please wear them when you leave. I have also included a dairy and a book. The diary is for you to keep track of everything you have learned, done, and have met throughout your schooling. The book is something you will need for school. Keep these things close to you. I know you will make me proud. You always had a place in my heart and one day, we will be able to see each other again. Until then, I love you with all of my heart.
Your Father.”
“Special family?!” She thought to herself. What does that mean?! Summer was ending and that meant school was about to begin. She put on the clothes that were sent to her mother and gathered her belongings. As she was leaving her mother kissed her goodbye and whispered a few things in her ear. She left with a smile and was eager to be on her way. It was a beautiful drive through the country and then she noticed a sign, “Welcome young wizards and witches”. Her eyes lighted up in delight and knew that what she had done during the summer wasn’t strange. As they pulled up closer to the school, she knew everything will be alright.
Personality: Miley is down to earth and a social butterfly. She doesn’t like to be alone and if she is, she will either find someone to be with or end up writing in her diary that her father gave her. However, she does have a mean side. Cross her once, you will never see the end of it.
Strengths: Writing, establishing friendships, and sports
Weaknesses: Her temper and unable to stay still and silent
Favorite Hogwarts Class: Defense Against the Dark Arts
Least Favorite Hogwarts Class: Herbology
Appearance: Miley has brown hair and hazel eyes. She’s 5”4’ with an athletic build. She always wears a fairy necklace that she has gotten for her 13th birthday. Her hair is always down except when she is playing sports. She always wears earrings and has lip gloss on, but they will change as quickly as her mood does.
Sample Role Play: As Miley stepped out of the car and into the courtyard, her heart starting racing. There were too many emotions going through her mind. She was excited, nervous, giddy, and among all proud. She never thought she would be going to school for magic. She clutched her bag tightly as she starting walking towards the front door.
“This is it. This is IT. THIS IS IT!” as she was chanting in her head. She walked into the doorway and saw many different halls and windows. She had no idea which way was what or where to start. She stood for a second, closed her eyes, and decided to feel which was to go. “Let’s go thata way!” as she was pointing to the right.
Miley threw her bag on her shoulder and started heading towards the right. As she kept walking, the number of windows were decreasing and more torches were being noticed. The hallway started getting darker and Miley started walking slower. “I don’t think I should have gone this way….” She stopped and sat on the ground debating what to do next.
