Often referred as the 'Starr Heiress' by magical publications Angel C. Starr is the eldest member of her generation of the Starr family. Originally a wizarding pureblood family from Italy they have many ties to England due to economical interests and involvement with both Ministries of Magic. For over fifty years members of the family have been attending Hogwarts and maintain a dual citizenship with Italy and England. They own multiple homes in both countries to keep up with image of living in both countries and try to stay involved in both Ministries of Magic. The family money has been passed down for generations but expanded due to industrial pursuits and the intermarrying among other rich families. The family has for centuries maintained a wine vineyard on their private island well off the the coast of Italy but their other financial pursuits include wand-making and the production of expensive Italian brooms (just to name a couple).
Angel was born to the male head of the family Dante L. Starr I from his first marriage to Siearce Starr (née Anton). Dante was arranged to marry Siearce, the pair were cousins through his mother Elisia Starr (née Mancini) as well as his father Lucas Starr. The Anton's were relatives of Starrs from Denmark but had settled in England just before the birth of their daughter. Tragically Siearce's parents died of a mysterious death before she turned one and would be placed with various family members before Elisia took it upon herself to take in the child of her first cousin. While Siearce was a couple years younger than Dante it was planned well in advanced that she should marry him after her graduation from Hogwarts.
Throughout childhood the pair never got along and it wasn't until they were both attending Hogwarts that they were able to tolerate each other. Both were sorted into Slytherin but neither wanted their friends to learn of their families' intentions for them. Towards Siearce's last years at Hogwarts an attraction grew between them but neither could decide if it was real love or they'd just accepted the fact they were stuck with each other. Either way some form of love grew between the two of them and their marriage was a happy event for the whole family, bringing together two branches of the Starr family.
The couple had a shaky marriage due to Siearce's unhappiness over settling so soon and her growing interest in the return of Lord Voldemort. Her husband was always keeping himself busy with work and she grew jealous of his obvious love for their children. The couple had one son, Dante Jr. a couple years after the birth of Angel but only a couple years later tragedy would strike the family. The death of Siearce Starr shocked the family and Wizarding community, they had been unaware of her joining the Deatheaters during the second rise of Voldemort. It wouldn't be The Order of the Phoenix that killed her but another Deatheater when she foolishly tried to back out. Angel was still a young child at the time but she'd never been close to her mother except for rare moments of tenderness. With the death of the mother of his children Dante sunk into a depression that would last for a couple years.
While Dante was stuck in a pit of dismay his elder sister Daerenia Starr took advantage of his sudden lack of interest in his children. Angel's aunt intended to bring the girl over the dark arts in order to aid Voldemort in the future. It was obvious there was a great deal of power in the girl but she wouldn't be able to control it until she matured. Wanting to be accepted Angel went along willingly, not knowing that the fearsome man/creature was who to blame for the death of her mother. The young girl unintentionally revealed the plan to her grandmother who immediately took action in the form of banishing Daerenia from the family home. While the Starr family were supporters of blood purity they never supported the crimes against nature that Voldemort was performing.
Being young Angel somehow forgot about the incident, especially because he father had brought another woman into the family. Dovie Rose was a Muggleborn witch who had attended Hogwarts years after Dante. After leaving school she became an artist and the couple met at an art exhibit. Despite her being many years younger they fell in love quickly and were married with a small ceremony. She become a new mother to the children and gave up her own career to follow her husband around the world. While some people were quick to love her it was Elisia Starr that was against the couple and often tried to talk her son out of the nuptials. Eventually she gave up, especially after Elisia realized her son was finally defying her.
It would seem that Angel's life would become uneventful but she was to become the Starr heiress so she could never truly hide from the press. They seemed drawn to the family almost like a set of royals, craving information about their glamorous life. Angel drew in even more attention because of her 'little hellion' reputation she gained for pulling pranks on important officials, including blowing the roof off the Minister of Magic's house during a party. As she matured and become a beautiful young woman they didn't hold back on publishing stories about her love life and wild behavior.
Instead of being sent to Hogwarts her grandmother decided she should attend Beauxbatons in France. Angel didn't suit in well at Beauxbatons despite being fluent at French; she seemed to always be in trouble for something. She didn't blame this on her being a troublemaker, but on the French kids all being boring and having no sense of humor. After being turned in for skipping class by a particularly annoying blonde girl she was sent to the Headmistress’s office. It was a pure accident when she set the office and the Headmistress on fire. The Headmistress wanted her expelled but her father made a deal that Angel would just attend another school...that was just her first year of school.
It was then Angel came to attend Hogwarts and be sorted into Gryffindor. She was the first ever Gryffindor in the family, which disappointed her grandmother. Still she grew to love Hogwarts and make many friends. Despite having the reputation of a flirt her first boyfriend in the school was Loki Seivert who asked her out only after throwing her in the lake. It was a slightly shaky relationship but when he broke up with her she realized how much she loved him. It was only when she saw how happy he was with her friend Holly that she decided to move on.
Still Elisia Starr wanted a say in Angel's life and had her set to marry a Malfoy despite her young age. She was set to marry not for love but for the satisfaction of her family. It was Death, Keeper of the Void and Crosser of Souls, who took her away from the aisle. It seemed while Death was suffering from unrequited love to Holly and Angel was still getting over Loki the two had fallen in love themselves.
The stunt she pulled by disappearing at her own wedding resulted in her being disowned and homeless. It was Holly's parents who took Angel in and gave her a home while Dante tried to reason with his mother. The two girls found out they were in fact cousins, Holly's great grandmother was a Starr disowned for marrying a muggleborn. This only strengthened the girl’s bond. In time Angel was forgiven by her grandmother and went back to her spot in the limelight.
As for Death and Angel the couple had a very rocky relationship. At first Death was unable to touch Angel thus making things very strained between the two. Finally he was able to fully be with her and things seemed perfect, until he started being away more and more often. Eventually Angel couldn't take it anymore and the couple broke up, Death not being present for the confrontation.
For month Angel grew closer to her first love Loki who was once again single. This only confused her more when she realized she still loved him...

Naturally Angel has long, curly russet brown hair which she from time to time changes colors when boredom occurs. She usually has her hair down but when she puts it up it’s in a messy French twist that stray curls always seem to escape from. Sometimes she will straighten it but whenever it is humid it’s near impossible even with magic to make her hair straight. Her eye color changes from medium brown to a bright Kelly green, usually staying at green. Her height comes to just barely 5’3” and often tries to make herself appear taller with heels. She has a very expressive face that carries through with all of her emotions.
Angel has a semi-fair complexion without the interference of sunlight but being Italian she easily gets a golden tan. It has always disappointed her that she didn’t have a more pointed nose, and it is in fact rather plain and short. Her nose is pierced and typically has a stud in the shape of a small star. There are three piercings in each of her loops and two in her right cartilage. Behind her right ear is the Starr family birthmark in the form of a five pointed star. As an animagus she takes the form of a white dove.
At Hogwarts often times she is found wearing her Gryffindor uniform with colors of scarlet, gold and black. Out of school she tends to dress in whatever is fashionable at the time, shopping is one of her addictions. She prefers to wear casual dresses whenever the weather allows her to. If it is too cold she’ll usually be found in designer jeans and some fashionable top. Her favorite color is pink and she prefers silver or platinum jewelry over gold.

Shy has never been a word that could describe Angel, she started talking a couple months earlier than most babies and hasn’t stopped since. It could be said that she likes the sound of her own voice, but she also seems to have a lot to say. Opening up to complete strangers is typically easy for her, except for some select subjects. Typically Angel feels the need to appear happy to her friends even if she isn’t. Since attending Hogwarts she had gained more confidence and is happier in whole. It is apparent that she likes to get attention and is pretty immune to it because of her dealings with the press.
Being in Gryffindor she has inner courage that most wouldn’t expect out of someone with a peppy personality that would put a cheerleader to shame. She is determined to do her best to protect those she cares about, putting them above herself. Sadly her heroic efforts usually do not go according to the plan in her mind. She is prone to accidents and sometimes she can make the situation worse. She has a bad habit of walking blindly into danger and not thinking first about all of the possible repercussions.
Angel has some less amiable qualities that at times can get her in trouble with people. Growing up with all the money she’s ever wanted or needed, she tends to take things for granted and has a hard time understanding why someone would worry about financial issues. Spoiled is a word that could possibly describe her though she in no way tries to rub it into someone’s face even though she might say the wrong thing. At times she can suffer a slight superiority complex but her years at Hogwarts have worked on controlling that unlikable trait.
As for her studying habits, they sometimes are rather lacking. Angel is a smart girl, she learns quickly but that’s only if she wants to learn. While she loves learning a new potion she couldn’t care less about history. She doesn’t study, at least the subjects she does study she certainly doesn’t see as studying.
