Default Reminder on Post Quality

Hello fellow Ehers!

Just a friendly reminder to all of you to take your time while posting. Though we don't have a minimum word count for each post, we still want quality and substantial posts with spaces between paragraphs/sentences to make it easier to read. Also, spell check is very handy. We won't get everything, but on most words, spell check is a beautiful thing.

As well, please refrain from trying to write with an accent. Its hard to read and doesn't make sense. If you want to convey you have a strong accent, please just write like the following:

Eva turned to Angel and gave her some of her lipgloss that was tucked away in her rucksack.

"Don't worry, Angel. Loki will write soon. He's just extremely busy right now with Quidditch." She informed her almost sister in her heavy french-canadian accent that was associated with the Seivert clan.

We will understand what accent you are trying to do and leave it to our imagination if you just tell us and write normally.

I know for some of you, its harder to write than others, but please try your best. What ends up happening is that when you slack on your posts, you gain a reputation for bad posts and other players will not read what you wrote or be less willing to post with you in the future. We can tell the difference between trying and just being lazy.

At EH, we pride ourselves on quality posting. I know not everyone is advanced as others in role playing skills, but please take ideas and tips from other players in posting. As we keep posting, we should be improving and developing their character.

As well, another reminder is that second characters are a privilege, not a guarantee. If you rush through your 500 posts and showed no character development plus your posts are less than to be desired, your second character will not be accepted. It is up the administrators' to decide whether a player can have a second character or not.

Asking why a second character is not accepted is OK but Arguing will not be accepted. Me and the rest of the administrators are getting too old and too busy to deal with players that pitch a fit because they didn't get their way.

Thanks everyone! If you have questions, PM or MSN me!

Josci
