Sebrena laughed at Drachir's response but for some reason, found it funny enough to stop dancing and keep laughing. She giggled a bit more as her quill scribbled down behind her.
"OK. Let's go over.." She turned around to go to the couch, but then found Finn and Seth practically sucking each other's face off. She raised her eyebrow and looked over at Drachir. This was bad news and looked from Seth and Finn back to Drachir again. What to do? Should she say something to her head reporter on the mistake he was making? He could be a decent guy, Sebrena reckoned but now with the pairing with Finn, he could turn for the worse. However, for once Sebrena's desire to make her opinion known didn't win out over getting the story. She wanted Drachir's opinion and her underlying motive to forget Rocco completely. "Ok, I'll deal with this later." Sebrena circled the craziness before her with her finger and grabbed Drachir's shirt to go over to the side where there were more quiet. "So, as I was saying before I had my eyeballs burned out of my socket by that scene over there.." Sebrena thumbed at the direction of Seth and Finn, "What was the hardest part about your time as Head boy?" Sebrena asked him with a smile on her face.

Drachir was plesnetly surprised haveing being pulled from the dance floor, he glanced over at the two on the couch; Instantly he imagined himself ouring a bucket of water over them. Fine it would probably ruin the couch but he knew everyone would agree it was for a good cause.
Quote:
"Uh well to be honest I didn't really do much the school kinda ran itself. The Headboy title was most of the time little more than wearing a shiny badge. I think I was supposed to keep some form of discipline but I don't really like telling people off." He figured she might be a little dissapointed by this response and added. "Sorry if it's not juicy enough for front cover; I can tell you about dragons and stuff if that helps?"

It was good to have Corbin back, she had certainly missed him during his absence. With the uncertainty of her relationship with Holly it felt good to have another member of Gryffindor she could really depend on. And with Loki off playing Quidditch most of the time Angel definitely felt lonely at Hogwarts, at some point during all the tabloids and gossip she had let some of her friendships slide away.
While she was already smiling, Angel visibility brightened when Loki took her hand. "Well I was going to agree with Corbin but it seems you already did. And yes, the music is good, surprisingly enough..." It was also a very curious situation, after all she had no knowledge about her ex and her cousin forming a band. She was happily unaware of what Rocco had been up to after their split and she'd been content to keep it that way. Only problem was that Mallory was involved, wasn't she in love with Thom? Or was Rocco turning into rebound? Perhaps she should just concentrate on her own love life. "Now Corbin if you don't mind I'm going to convince my boyfriend to dance with me, and hopefully it won't be a hard sell." Angel looked at Loki, teasingly batting her eyelashes. "So Seivert, wanna dance? Looks like safe location, no sign of lakes or other water filled areas." When last had the pair danced together? They certainly hadn't since they started dating, usually preoccupied with the removal of clothes. The last time she could remember was at the Yule ball, before he had left to explore Europe and before he had died. At that thought her grip on his hand tightened subconsciously. |

He had no right to feel jealous, the simple fact was that Rocco had no claim to her. Still as he watched Sebrena dancing with Drachir and Seth he couldn't help the feelings that were boiling up, there was no denying the fact that he was jealous. He should be dancing with her, he should be the reason that she was smiling so brightly. Instead he was playing his guitar, singing a upbeat song about love and watching her flirt, smile and laugh.
Weren't girls totally into musicians? That was what Rocco had heard before but here he was in front of an audience but the only girl in his life was Mallory. Not that Mallory wasn't pretty, but she didn't have Sebrena's fire, strange to say considering how sarcastic his band mate could be. No, she just wasn't right for him. Just like how Angel wasn't right for him, how they weren't right for each other. He couldn't miss Loki in the crowd, with his height and ridiculously red hair. The guy had stolen his girlfriend and Rocco still felt an urge to punch him, only because his wounded pride. Losing Angel wasn't a tragedy, her cheating on him was unforgivable. Still, she looked happy and maybe it was for the best to let it go. He should let go his thoughts about Sebrena, it wasn't going to happen. No matter how many songs he wrote her his pride would never allow him to admit it to her. Plus she'd probably laugh in his face. |

Oh Finn felt all the eyes on them as they continued to smooch on the couch. Her heart was hammering and the blood was rushing to her head with all the excitement that she felt sitting on his lap and holding him in her arms.
Finn giggled as they parted lips and her eyes brightened when he told her that she was special. Seth just called her special! It had touched a nerve with her: no one had ever called her that. Dide, the wonderful but annoying brother he was, never really made her feel special before. More like the annoying sister that could do acrobatic tricks on the streets. She stuttered for a second and then closed her mouth to compose herself. How should the dark haired slytherin react? What could she say that was witty and clever and make herself sound older? "Well, you know that I adore you." She practically purred at him, her red lips puckering and her eyelashes batting at him. She was second guessing himself and though she liked Seth, she didn't like that she was so head over heels for the boy that she was second guessing herself. The nagging feeling of Valentina Way lurked in the back of her mind but she had him. She was on his lap snogging infront of everyone: how could he possibly go for a girl that liked a guy that was named, Death? Gross! "And I think we just caused quite a sensation." She leaned in to him again, hinting to everyone that was gawking at them.

Loki grinned at Angel when she mentioned a dance. Loki, with his love of Quidditch, also loved to dance. He took dance when he was younger (something his mother forced him into) that he continued to do after she died. After he came to Hogwarts, it was much too difficult to balance the two, and his dancing skills was only practiced on the dance floor.
"Did someone say dance?" He questioned lightly and dragged Angel on the dance floor, proceeding to move the way the music told him too. The girl dancing with Drachir was also very good, but Loki could hold his own. He pulled Angel in close as they danced together, very happy that he was there enjoying the party. He looked over at Rocco again. Would there be a fight? Loki hoped not and turned to look at Angel again as he continued to dance with her. He seemed to not be too bothered that Loki was there, and that was good enough for Loki. The red head had been in too many fights over girls for years. It was time to possibly hang up the fighting gloves. "So.. where am I crashing tonight? Maybe someplace where we don't run into exes? That would be ideal." He grinned cheekily at her as he leaned in to kiss Angel. |

Seth chuckled and gave Finn another kiss. This was turning out to be a great night. He was wondering what the two could do later to top it off. He could already feel his hormones raging, but he was going to treat Finn like a lady. He'd be a gentleman.
"Yes, it's quite the sensation. I think I'm getting one now with you in my lap," he said in a naughty whisper. Wait...what was that? He thought he was going to keep it gentlemanly. Apparently Finn was having more of an effect on him than he thought. He rested a hand on her shapely legs and raised an eyebrow at her. "We're not gonna be here all night, are we?" he whispered in her ear.
