Earn House Points!
Check here for the various ways you can now earn points for your house. This is subject to change so remember to look back often for new ways of earning points. The House cup will be awarded at the end of each semester and then the House Points will be reset ready for the nest term. The House Cup will be awarded to the winning house on the last day of term along with the Quidditch awards (check the calendar for further information)
Quotes (3 House Points): We're looking for quotes said by members of this site that are especially funny, meaningful, or otherwise important. If you have a quote from one of the RPs that you think fits this description, click here. As long as your quote is meaningful, and not a piece of random dialouge, then you will gain THREE points for your house. Please include the speaker of the quote when submitting.
Completing Rumours (5 House Points): If you read the Snitch News you will note that at the end of each publication there will be a list of four rumours and information about what to do with them here. Students are invited to play out these rumours and have them being true or false. If you've been allocated a rumour and want to play it out you should call the thread 'Have you heard? (Your name here)' FIVE house points will be awarded to you if you manage to complete your rumour and the thread goes beyond one page of posting.
Winning Quidditch Matches (5 House Points): For every match your team wins FIVE points will be awarded to your house.
Winning Best Chaser/Keeper/Beater/Seeker (10 House Points): At the end of the semester awards will be given out to those who've played the best in Quidditch matches. The winners of these awards will receive TEN house points each.
Winning the Quidditch Cup (20 House Points): TWENTY house points will be awarded to the winning house.
Taking Classes (5 House Points): By registering for classes you automatically receive FIVE points for your house.
Attending Lessons (2 House Points): If you post on the lessons thread (including the final exam thread) your teacher creates you will be awarded TWO house points.
Doing Homework (2 House Points): By returning homework to your teachers as described over at classes you will receive TWO house points.
Getting Good Grades (3/2/1 House Points): If you pass your class with a grade O at the end of the semester you will receive THREE house points. An E will gain you TWO house points and an A will snag you ONE house point. Anything lower than that is a fail and you won't receive anything.
