New Student's Guide!
Welcome to Enter Hogwarts! So, you're a new student? Well, have no fear, this guide is here to help you!
First things, first! When you first are accepted to Hogwarts, you will notice that you have not been sorted and that you are classified as a "Provisional Student". There are a few reasons for this. One, we want to get a feel for your personality and sort you into the right house, and two, it helps you meet more students from different houses. You can post in the Provisional Students thread in the OOC board, too, where you'll be most welcomed by the students of Hogwarts!
Posting, posting, posting! Here are a few tips on posting. The general rule is to pay attention to how other people have posted. Put spaces between paragraphs to make them easier to read.

Alright, so you want to be sorted into a particular house, eh? Well, after you've posted on the boards at least 20 times and been around EH for at least a week, you can head straight to the Sorting Ceremony thread and have a seat. The Sorting Hat will then sort you accordingly based on your personality in posts. If you want to get into a particular house, try talking to some of the members of that house already, they can put in good word for you!
So, you're a member of a house already, what next? Try joining in different RPs! The students of Enter Hogwarts are friendly and welcoming so jump right into an RP, but please be sure to read things through thoroughly and stick to whatever is going on in the particular RP!
Be sure to keep up on News and Updates that go around the school, there's always something new and fun happening around! Why not try reading the Snitch News?
